Sorry about lateness of update, but we had power failure due to snow in the region! Sunday extended benches have been updated for Suns vs Hawks, yes for those who were worried Aaron Hall (Mid/Fwd) made the cut, and rookie priced option Kaiden Brand (Def) did, however with bye next week and shoddy JS, wouldn’t advise.
6:30pm Thursday 23/06/2016
Remaining weekend teams are IN! Sorry to say there is a bit of carnage, and we thought the byes would be easy. Dayne Zorko (Fwd/Mid) is OUT for personal reasons, as well as PODs Kade Kolodjashnij (Def) and Jesse Lonergan (Def/Mid).
Rookies Daniel Rioli (Fwd) Corey Ellis (Fwd/Mid), Jacob Hopper (Mid), Sam J. Reid (Fwd/Mid), Tom Lee (Def), are out.
Some good news, popular rookie pick Tom Phillips (Fwd/mid) has made the cut, Nick Riewoldt (Fwd) is back as is Aaron Hall (Fwd/Mid) and POD Steve Johnson (Fwd/Mid) and Shane Mumford (Ruck). Luke Hodge (Mid.) is back from a long stint on the sidelines.
Painful for those who traded him last week Rhys Mathieson (Mid) is back for lions.
We have yet another Rookie debut for lions with Matthew Hammelmann (Def/Fwd) but I’d hold off as he has the bye next week.
CHANGE: Majak Daw is out, replaced by Robin Nahas #aflcrowsnorth

6:15pm Wednesday 22/06/2016
Partial lockout this week, so make sure you have any trades involving Crows or Roos players before the game Thursday night, with only a brief window from ~6:15pm tomorrow to see remaining round teams. The big out for this match is Daniel Wells, who is still struggling with his calf injury. Some may still have Paul Seedsman, who has a hamstring injury. Big ins if not as DT wise with Andrew Swallow and Ben Cunningham for North, and remember Brad Crouch? Hes back from the wilderness.
In other news, Ryan Harwood has been placed on long term injury list. If you have him, you need to trade.

Shags’ Watchlist
Watchlist player has to be from Adelaide. Why? They have had the bye, North still have theirs next week. With many with Ruck woes, The Sauce Sam Jacobs (Ruck $482,000 be 74 $ 500,700 be 49). has come good in his last couple of hitouts with 134 and 112 after being a bit underwhelming this year. If he can keep up this form he is underpriced, and plays out the this bye and next bye round.

Shags’ Watchlist
With less games already, and only half of those whom have had the bye, no wonder everyone is jumping on pretty much the only rookie to fit that criteria in Tom Phillips (Fwd/Mid $141,000 AF $121,300 DT), his DPP status is handy, and is one of the few times it might be worth jumping on a rookie early in DT as well.

Shags’ Watchlist
As Brissy have a bye next week, I am picking a tiges player, and to my surprise it seems Trent Cotchin (Mid $544,000 AF be 83 $578,700 be 102) has been travelling very well recently with a 5 round average of 108.6. A player who has oft been lambasted in DT world for not living up to expectations, is he coming good? Could be just the POD some teams are after.

Shags’ Watchlist
Yet again I am going to look at Blues players for trades as they have already had the bye, and the player that stands out to me is yet again Sam Docherty (Def $517,000 be 104 AF $ 536,400 be 117 DT), he doesnt comes cheap, but thats because he is sitting on a 5 game average of 109.

Shags’ Watchlist
With their bye out of the way, my eyes are firmly on Nick Riewoldt (Fwd $579,000 be 147 AF $604,400 be 157)who prior to his injury was looking a forward must have. he has a huge be so next week might be a better time to get him, however if you need to upgrade a forward you could get him in this week simply for bye round structure. His injury is a risk.

Shags’ Watchlist
I wouldn’t recommend trading in this week as he has the bye, however Luke Hodge (Mid $500,000 be 145 be $ 546,000 168 DT) has a large BE due to injury, and has always been earmarked for DPP def status change. Watch and see how he goes, could be a good strategy to get him in when cheap, and slot in def if/when he becomes a defender round 18.
