Golden Stubby – Round 13

The Round 13 Golden Stubby voting is now open. Choose from Rocky, Zorko, Hanley, Chapman and Dayne Beams for the coveted prize. Tune in on Thursday night as we award the prize on DT TALK Live from 7:30pm AEST.

Voting is now open for the DT TALK Golden Stubby for Round 13. This coveted prize will be awarded to the player who excelled on the weekend, taking into account price, form, opponent and whatever else tickles your fancy!

This weeks nominations (collected by @WarnieDT through Twitter) are:

  • Tom Rockliff (141). Our boy! The man we sponsored this year delivered this week as many coaches jumped off him. Roy is massively happy and look our for the Rockwiz to dominate the second half of the season… 120+ average coming right up!
  • Dayne Zorko (120). Can he go back to back? We have what has been quoted as an uber-super-premo-rookie. What do you reckon? He is looking more and more our F7 keeper!
  • Pearce Hanley (134). The Irishman dominated the game and in a week where some of our big dog premium defenders were out, Hanley stepped up – especially coming off a putrid 34 last week!
  • Paul Chapman (118). An awesome score up at the SCG and notching up his 8th 100+ score of the year. He also has a 5 game average of well over 110. One of the best DTers going around and he’ll battle week in, week out for us.
  • Dayne Beams (117). Mini-Swanny has been an absolute beast of late. 155 last week was a big score to be pipped by Zorko (well deserved though). Maybe this is a good way to make up for it? Look back over his season and see how good he has been!
Honorable Mentions: Black Caviar – what a beautiful horse! Well played… we’ll have a Golden Keg made up in your honor!
