Why should I pick him? Because he is one of the greatest, if not the greatest DTer of all time. Last year had score 100+ a massive 86% of the time and cracked the 119+ mark a nice 64% of the time. Swannie is also a lock in captain and when you have a guy who can pump out 150’s and the occasional 160 he is a bloody jet and a must have in any team. Another reason is his durability, Swannie will play hurt and will always tough it out (unlike some of the other pussy’s), he hasn’t missed a game in 4 years and with a low score this year of just 83, he is a gun and is un-taggable.

Why shouldn’t I pick him? He’s going to be very expensive, but like anything, you get what you pay for. Some people will avoid Swannie, waiting for him to drop in price. This will happen at some point in 2011, but do you really want to muck around waiting for what might not even happen. HELL NO!

Deck of DT Rating. ACE – How can he not be? He is a lock in captain! And with bye rounds in 7 and 13 he has time to warm-up… rest… fire again… rest and then play the rest of the year smacking you out huge numbers.
