i’ve replaced him at D2 with Rivers given how well he scored in the guts last year along with Tracs delayed start to the season..

I have a couple of ideas on what to do with Wardlaw: 1, Bring Allan into the mids and trade in Salem as a POD, 2 Trade in O Hollands and use the rest of the money to upgrade Coleman if he doesn’t play and I can downgrade Xerri if I want to afford a better player elsewhere

Besides Wardlaw, Coleman and Tauru will be out injured for several weeks.El-Hawli, Camporeale and Hotton are very unlikely to play Rd 1, not best 23. Fix all those, and it’s a pretty good team I reckon. Maybe find a place for Caleb Daniel in your forwards.
I’ve now brought in O Hollands and Salem for Coleman and Wardlaw with M Whitlock and Gibcus D7 and 8, Closehy M10 and Cutin F8

any news/word coming out of the kennel about Kennedy?? wondering how he’s tracking given all their injuries in pre-season..
have a rotating door at F1 atm between:
1 – JHF (preferred but need a 230k bench rook player to make it work)
2 – Rankine (sounds like more mid time, but they have so many in that basket)
3 – Kennedy (proven scorer IF given the right role, but does play for bevo)
4 – Baker (QB style defenders generally score very well)
5 – Simpkin (same as Rankine, norf have a stack of mids now)
For JHF Sam Davidson and Connor stone are options

Hey guys, posted a team previously but have tweaked post match sims. Opting against McKercher down back as he’s playing more of a HF role? Really stuck in DEF trying to avoid R3 bye teams as much as possible.
DEF: NWM, Dale, Short, Mills, Schoenmaker, Travaglia (Leake, playing 230k rookie)
MID: Brayshaw, Rozee, Oliver, Shiel, Peatling, O.Hollands, J.Smith, Draper (Ashcroft, Langford)

Main other sticking point is Hollands or opting for another rookie freeing up $$ to upgrade elsewhere
What do you think Sweet can average?
I think 85-90 pretty comfortably, give me flexibility to jump to Marshall if he gets a slow start or hold onto him if Sweet racks up points

Torn between Rankine, JHF and Jackson for F1. Crows have a stacked midfield and alot of depth, Fremantle have a ruc opening for Jackson with Darcy out but JHF looks the good at training and match sims.
Went with Cerra due to midfield concerns at Carlton, would also look at Doch or Will Ashcroft.
Leake moves onto the field with Tom Green going down
OR not looking good with a heavy amount of byes so spent up for covering the lack of numbers with higher ceiling players.

Looks pretty good. Don’t mind the guns and rookies strategy with the early byes, assuming they get named and you are confident in JS and scoring. Especially down back, at this point it doesn’t look like we have a lot of depth.
Laird is a name I havnt seen, what’s the thinking there?
Very true on the rookies especially down back, may have to revise that, maybe downgrade Laird. RE having him is that he is a gun, yes, a lot older but still one of their best and will be DPP by round 6.

Great team, I think with 5 rookies it has to be 3 in the mids. Maybe the Peatling/Hollands price point is missing but you could cover that with Oliver or Day. Might be a bit vanilla but there is nothing wrong with that to start… It’s a trading game after all!

Question for anyone and everyone — I know a lot of discussion has been had on Rozee vs Taranto — but why is LDU not up for discussion? surprised to see him only @ 2.31% owned?
Not a bad POD, contract year and we are expecting Norf to improve this year. Probably not a whole lot of obvious upside to the pick though, what’s changed between last year?
Rozee and Taranto have both averaged 105+ in the past and could return to that if they stay injury free. I guess that’s more of a defined reason for potential upside.
