None. Get the essential H dawg, Zorko, Flanders, Sexc and Fish, then basically don’t bother with the 6th slot….any option is as good as the other, they’re all coinflips and battlers. Better off putting your resources into a line where the investment is rewarded.
Prefer Rankine,Caldwell, maybe Curnow over Sexton,Fisher
Yeah, but again, it’s not going to be a massive difference, and the higher scoring pair probably alternates most weeks. It’s not worth using trades over minor upgrades when you can generate .ore points elsewhere.
Better off bringing in bonafide elites everywhere else, or generating the last bit of cash needed to complete teams via downgrades.

Is Rozee worth considering now?
He was worth considering before he scored the 115 he was in the top picked players of the week for a reason.
Definitely did consider him last week, but he still held a reasonably high BE plus inconsistent form over the previous weeks.
Now, he’s had a good score with a reachable BE, so worth considering.

thoughts on what to do this week? want to move on oliver, currently ranked 6k is it a good idea to look at a POD like dunkley / treloar or go simple and get rozee against the saints while he’s cheap.

I reckon your team looks like any other team that is ranked above you – at least the same def and fwd’s.
I’d be trading Oliver to Dunks (if you had the coin) He has a pretty soft run home and like you said is a POD, but not for too much longer.
Hopefully, McK can start earning you some extra bank over the next few weeks, that would have been a massive hold and probably why you’re ranked 6k and not 3k.

25% odd climb up the ranks over byes. I’ll take it. Feels like have something to play for now, with a momentary dip inside 20k, and a look at a 4 digit rank.

Funnily though the only real difference between our teams this week (apart from just about all players) was your captain errol, without him I may have beaten you, it’s a funny game, well played.

jumped 30 odd spots to be inside the top 700, so wasn’t a BAD weekend, but fark, my trade ins the last couple weeks could’ve been better..
unfortunately, biggest blunder was bringing Salem in.. all signs pointed to him being a fairly secure 90+ guy, enough to jumped 100k and lock in at M7/8 for a few weeks, but i’ve seen enough and he is out for Rozee..
Sexton lasts another week though as i need a D8 now that the bye rounds have ended, so provided he’s picked Schoenmaker comes in for Freijah (with a shuffling of players..)
Time to bite the bullet and get Gulden. Have to trade someone to get to him though. I feel FRE have modified their game plan and Clark / Ryan could drop a bit, and feel Young has had his role changed. Also Fisher has dropped the last two weeks, maybe another role change?
Which one of those gets sacrificed??

I have same question.
Unhappy with Oliver -must go. Jackson been good-bye cover for a while but failed this week big time with score less than Salem. Brought in Salem for the round and not happy. Also worried about Ryan. With 2 trades its Oliver and 1 other out of Jackson and Salem who are similar price. I have decided to keep Salem unless it is revealed he was subbed with some injury ongoing concern. Traders saying took knee knock into the game and was not 100% -wish I knew this before trading him in. The plan before the game maybe was to have only played part game especially if game won and big Brisbane game next week. Big watch on reports this week. As his next game is on Friday night the positive is his score can be looped if have suitable cover which reduces the risk of keeping him.
Hmmm …..so at this stage I keep Salem over Jackson as hope Salem minor injury is better & he can get back to preround form but watching teams and injury info and could easily change mind.
For you depends on the rest of your team-if he is your biggest problem maybe just trade anyway.

Both providing similar score you’d think…maybe 20-30 extra points for Oliver, who’s probably priced 40-50 points higher.
Bang per buck says Oliver out and Schoenmaker on field….but generally get the rooks out first, assuming they’re not reliable scorers.

So how ballsy do we go? 1 rook left on ground pre trades (F6)
1) not at all ballsy: cut two dead wood rooks (McMullin/Reid) and bring in schoen and tholstrup. Do some looping at F6 between tholstrup/dowling/harrison +24k
2) real ballsy: CUT Luke Ryan (2 weeks after bringing him in!) and trade Clark (Gee) and him to Rozee and Simpkin and have 0 rooks on field +60k (bench rooks incl Dowling, Kreuger, Harrison, McMullin, Reid, Brown, Barnett)
Currently lowest priced in each line on field is rook (f6), Green (m8), Xerri (r2) and Whitfield (d6)
I think option 2 is honestly not bad at all… may as well give it a shot.

EIther
Out: Macauliffe & Powell
In: Cleary (or any mid rook) & caldwell
Or
Out: Salem (stupidly brought in last week) & reville
In: Zorko & any rook
I prefer option 1, got to get rid of kapow…. that’s what I’m doing this week.

Option 1 – Uwland to Yeo leaving Powell, Dowling and McEntee on field (17K)
Option 2 – Powell to Rozee leaving Uwland, Dowling, McEntee on field. (70K)
I thnk it is better fielding Powell then Uwland – any thoughts?
I would go option 2. Reasons: Yeo is recurrent injury prone and Rozee hopefully is through. Rozee has higher ceiling than Yeo. Uwland can score well if GCS play in back half which they might against the pies. I would say though that you need to try to get rid of Uwland and Mcentee if they are on field as they are more bench options. Powell just has to go as not filed or bench option. Hope this helps.

I would go option 1. Yeo is a more consistent scorer than Rozee and is the best player in the team, yes he can get injured but at this stage of the season it’s largely sideways trading anyway as most teams are pretty much rookie free on field. Rozee is more likely to get a tag and Port are in a mess as a team, the Eagles are at least in most games now and seem to have a positive mindset.
Rozee has a BE of 87 so isnt going to rise a huge amount this week, so you can still get him next week if you want to.

No problem, only thing to monitor now is that Yeo actually plays this weekend, his father passed away this afternoon so I’d assume there’s a chance he may choose not to.
In terms of who to field, I’d probably lean to Krueger, both need goals to get their points he’s 4:2 from 2 games whereas McE is 5:4 from 12. But I doubt there will be much between them.
I presume you don’t have another non playing fwd that you could use to loop Krueger’s score if any good and if not field McE?
If Kynan Brown gets a gig, he might be a loop option from Friday night. Thanks for the advice, helps a lot.

19k only in the bank. Team is ‘complete’ but I have 4 bad premiums. 2 of them being salem and jarred Berry who I want to get rid of because he’s recently started tagging. Only 19k in bank.
Option 1 : salem out and short in and Berry out for Dunkley/serong/laird
Option 2 : salem out for simpkin and Berry out for Dunkley/serong/laird

I’d mix it up a bit rather than end up with the same players as everyone else above you.
I’d give Rivers a go over Short/Simkin, if you can still get Dunks I’d go him, if not i’d chance Brayshaw over the other 2.
