It’s finals time once again… so welcome back to another edition of our best Draftstars’ plays for the weekend. Plenty of coin on offer for the Saturday and Sunday slates, along with the individual games. Let’s see who make our top picks of the weekend.

Friday Night – GWS Giants v Geelong
KITTY: $100k

Rhys Stanley (RUC, $11,430)

The big ruckman topped scored for the Cats when they played the Giants in round 21 with 109pts. Despite coming off a poor 34 last week, expect the big man to bounce back against a much easier opponent this week.

Lachie Ash (DEF, $7,720)

This is the definition of value. Coming off 59 in the first final, his poor score might blind some coaches. My question is “why not?”. Ash scored 73 in his most recent game against the Cats where he had eight tackles. He can get the job don for you here and at a price that is under $8k.

Jack Henry (DEF, $9,600)

Although Henry isn’t the sexiest pick in town this weekend, he has been getting the job done with an average of 71 in his last six games. This guy loves a mark and held onto nine last week against the Power roaming around in defence. He won’t set the world on fire but in these single games, we need guys like whim who can hit solid numbers, allowing us to load up in other areas.

Saturday Night – Brisbane v Bulldogs
KITTY: $75k

Oscar McInerney (RUC, $12,850)

Big O has been consistent over the last six week putting up five scores in the 90s with 81 against Nic Nat, one of the toughest rucks to score against in the competition. With few rucks in the slate you can bank on, McInerney feels a better play than the similarly priced English who is down on Fantasy form.

Daniel Rich (DEF, $14,310)

Bulldogs have been one of the easiest teams for defenders to score against this year. Even though they’ve gotten tighter in recent weeks, Rich appears to be one of the big boys worth paying up for with five of his last six scores in triple figures.

Kidean Coleman (FWD, $5,940)

A role change in the last couple of games has seen Coleman improve his Fantasy output with scores of 74 and 62. Price is super-cheap due to some low sub-affected scores. We’ve got to find some at least one cheapie and Coleman is as good as any in this slate.
