Warnie’s look at some of the Fantasy relevant names from Gold Coast v Geelong and whether we should include them in our Fantasy teams… (feel free to add your takes in the comments).

Christian Petracca (MID/FWD, $948,000) 🔒
SCORE: 121 (77% TOG)
PRICED AT: 90
Oh boy! Ever since Rowell went down (round 4 return at best is the latest), CP3 has been F2 for me and plenty of others – apparently I’m only jumping on now according to Cal, but he should know it has been a while after this elite team reveal last week. Anyway, he was a mid with 58% CBAs, he pushed forward to have 34d, 5m, 2t and kicked 3 goals. With West Coast and Richmond before their round three bye, we just have to do it! This one can’t be overthought IMO.
Leonardo Lombard (FWD, $230,000) 🔒
SCORE: 75 (80% TOG)
PRICED AT: 22
Loved the pressure. Loved his goals. Booted 2 snags, saw him up the ground as part of his 15d, 4m, 4t. Still a bench-only option despite the very nice rookie score, but he could surprise us. Remember the Suns really did flog the Cats (56-point margin).
Wil Powell (DEF, $701,000) ❌
SCORE: 69 (79% TOG)
PRICED AT: 67
Had the most CBAs (25 of 33) for the Suns as their No.1 banana in the middle (Anderson 24, Davies 20, Petracca 19). Unfortunately he didn’t build on his 29-point first quarter. It was followed by 13, -1, 28. I had him in a multi for 80+. Only leg that failed. Damn. Role great, scoring disappointing.
Oscar Adams (DEF, $260,000) ❌
SCORE:44 (71% TOG)
PRICED AT: 25
Nope.
Zeke Uwland (DEF/MID, $346,000) ❌
SCORE: 42 (62% TOG)
PRICED AT: 33
If our mates at @bitinthat were doing live ownership changes, I reckon at the half everyone was back on board Zeke after his popularity has dropped off the back of praccy games. Zeke had 41 at HT, but backed it up with 5 and -4 in the next two quarters. In the pre-game, Dimma said he would play between 60-65% TOG. Nailed it. I think he can be a pass with the likes of Lindsay, Serong, Jaques (pending his game)… plus Grlj in the mix as rookie-priced defenders. Glass half-full, he can score 41 in a half, glass half empty… he can also score 1 and have limited TOG.
Tanner Bruhn (MID, $517,000) 🔒
SCORE: 98 (72% TOG)
PRICED AT: 49
After seeing Tanner off half-back for 75 in the first half of the praccy game last week, we were all in. Some may have had some trepidation due to the midfield role that came following the main break, but this game showed that he was going to continue in that role behind the ball – he only had 1 CBA. It looked like he was kinda wing, but everything was happening off half-back. He was getting plenty (31d, 5m) and being looked for, racking up the receives. We start him. Simple as that. Price is going north!
Bailey Smith (MID, $1,220,000) ⏳
SCORE: 80 (83% TOG)
PRICED AT: 116
He was never an option at that price, let alone with the bye … but we can possibly get him a fair bit cheaped as his price drops significantly. Wait now! Bargain coming.

Good summary Warnie, thanks.
