AFL Fantasy Classic is set to launch later in January (we aren’t aware of the official date, but most likely in the back-half of the month). Stay tuned as we’ll be across any news as it drops.

Hi Greg, I knew as far back as August that there would no longer be any fantasy RDT. Sad that they have finished.

I was absolutely devastated when I realised back in August that RDT was not likely to continue in 2026. It was Dulcify who advised me of this.
I had played DT since the very first year fantasy leagues started,
All of my cash leagues will now revert to Fantasy but. like me, a number of us have never played Fantasy before hence it will be a year of learning the different nuances and strategies from what I am used to.
The purpose of the utility still confuses me. From what I’ve learnt of it so far, it seems like a waste of a selection.
I’m not going to say its easier to play Fantasy, The 2 trades each week and 3 during bye rounds certainly help, Its the 100k + players that makes a game a challenge!

I’m not sold on the Lalor pick as yet and I’m wondering the value of Newman with his round 2 bye. Could be dependent on what he scores in opening round. I’ve tried to minimise opening round players with Newman, Gulden and Flanders being the only players to have an early bye and they are all in different weeks.

I like the Rozee, Kerch combo i think it will be popular.
Parish’s return could affect Caldwell’s scoring preseason watch.
Ruck line will be the interesting one again a preseason watch on scoring set and forget might become a distance memory.
Harry is another interesting pick no starting value he has to go bang from round 1 or will lose cash fast.
Newman surly has to be an upgrade round 3 will still be cheap enough?

Then they would still be in your team but just in different lines. Your not making much sence.
You clearly have no sense of humour. And your spelling leaves a lot to be desired!
It’s also not grammatically correct to start a sentence with ‘And’.
And your point is? Clearly you have never studied Shakespeare, Chaucer or Dickens!
Point is, it’s rich to come at someone for grammar, when your own grammar needs work.
Clearly you dont understand that the word “and” can be used to start a sentence. Just because you dont know how to use it, doesnt mean others Don know how to use it!
Check the spelling of some of your words geezer, maybe you need to obtain the services of a tutor.
In my native language, don is used, interchangeably, with don’t!

keeping an eye on Windsor, Weddle, Macdonald (with Day potentially injured), Wardlaw, Yeo, JOM (position change?), Rachele (talk of mid minutes?), Lalor, Kiddy, Chesser and even possibly Bruhn & Parish..
Wait until the game opens and you see Sweet’s and Draper’s faces R1/R2 you will change your mind.

Anyone else considering 3 rooks in defence??
I feel more confident in them this would mean 2/3 in mid and zero in forward maybe Sid Draper. Because there is island, farrow, Lindsay( I think he takes McCarthys role) and Carmichael.
