G’day legends! Welcome to the another edition of Cal’s Scale of Hardness.
A reminder… this is a snippet of what the Scale of Hardness offers in our patreon space, which is updated fully and shitloads of info each and every Thursday at 3pm. Join the fun and just $10 a month… which buys us a pint to share (gross). These article don’t write themselves so your support is alway greatly appreciated… the more the merrier to laugh at Warnie and his team.
MOST POINTS CONCEDED
🔥 Richmond
🔥 Essendon
🔥 West Coast
🔥 Melbourne
🔥 St Kilda
MOST 100 & 120 SCORES P.G
🔥 Richmond
🔥 West Coast
🔥 Melbourne
🔥 Bulldogs
🔥 Geelong
DEFENDERS
🔥 West Coast, Fremantle, Hawthorn, Melbourne
❄️ Gold Coast, Port Adelaide
🥇 Lachie Whitfield (predicted top DEF this week)
Last week prediction: Zorko 79… ouch
The Dockers have the dream run approaching but so do a few other teams as well. I’m happy to look at Whitfield after he plays his two games in Adelaide, but at the same time expect him to be huge again this weekend.
MIDFIELDERS
🔥 Melbourne, Brisbane, Fremantle, Carlton
❄️ Sydney, St Kilda, Bulldogs
🥇 Andrew Brayshaw (predicted top MID this week)
Last week prediction: Dunkley 116
The Dockers play the #2 and #1 easiest teams over the coming two weeks (see the ranks below). It’s hard to see how Brayshaw and Serong don’t provide and instant ‘boost’ over this time in their scores.

This includes all the remaining rounds, all positions, tag watch and heaps of extra details!
We all know that the colours allocated to a team reflect the points they give up. However, above is the breakdown and ‘rank’ of where these teams as positioned.
Richmond are easy… we get that, but it was interesting to see that the Suns give up more points in defence than the Tigers, as do Melbourne in the midfield (for now anway). Obviously, we only have limited 2025 data, but as it sits right now… this is how easy some teams are.
I’ve done the same for the ‘hard teams‘… so head HERE to get that wicked info.
FYI – error in the graphic above… DEF (Switch GCS and RICH)
TAG WATCH
The Tag Watch Scale has been added a new colour. “Light Red”… which is basically pink, and it indicates the ‘flags’ that might be approaching. Some of these teams hardly tag, but like we saw with Melbourne last week when they used Sparrow to run with Holmes… it could happen and that’s why it needs to be flagged.
Biggest tag concerns this week are…
James Jordon 🏷️ Nick Daicos – went to him last year and held him to 71!
Toby Bedford 🏷️Jack Sinclair – this could be a number of Saints but Sinclair is the front runner.
Marcus Windhager 🏷️GWS MID – could be Green, Callaghan or even Kelly who he went to last year.
Tom Sparrow 🏷️Zach Merrett – I doubt the Demons will do this… but it’s a chance.

Thanks Cal, how are the Rucks looking? Any chance of a scale for them to help decide if Xerri goes to Cameron?
