On on top of the game…. The mega article (comes out Tuesdays at 7pm) can be found with the game by game coverage over at our patreon also. Covers so many possible captain (which is great for draft) in detail. With my top-10 launching on Thursday night around 7:00pm.
🏴☠️ 1 – Dawson v KANG
@ Adelaide, SUN 3:20pm
It’s going to be hard to turn our back on Dawson who has been awesome this year. Not only has he been score well, he plays the Roos who he scored 122 against last year. He even posted 136, 129 and 120 prior to that. He returns home where he has been unreal all of last year and even this year when he started with 126. Coming off 134, he is safe but at the same time has the abilty to hit a score we’ll all love.
🏴☠️ 2 – Marshall v RICH
@ Marvel, SAT 4:15pm
Marshall had 142 last week as he returned to the role as the Saints’ No.1 ruckman. He scored 140 and 136 against Nank last year (131 in 2023) and Nank has already allowed Sweet 75 and TDK 132 to score well… as he always does. The points will be flowing in this game and Marshall could very well hold the No. 1 spot above. He has the ability to hit those 140-plus scores, but his ‘fitness’ is my only concern.
🏴☠️ 3 – Rozee v ESS
@ Marvel, THUR 7:30pm
Rozee loves playing the Bombers and has averaged 112 against them over his career where he has played them seven times. He had 133 against them last year and even posted 145 before that. He is flying at the moment averaging 129, so let’s have a look at what the Crows did to the Biombers last week… oh yes as I thought, their three main onballers racked up with Dawson 134, Crouch 131 and Soligo 101. Boom!
🏴☠️ 4 – Macrae v RICH
@ Marvel, SAT 4:15pm
153 last week was sensational with 35 disposals and an impressive 10 tackles. He’s back! Richmond conceded 1934pts last week (700 more than the Power) and players like Rozee 145 cashed in. You can lock Macrae in for another 35-plus disposal game, but probably not the 10 tackles. He will find plenty of ball, shitloads in fact… which will get his score to another 120-plus with ease. Great VC to have a go at here.
🏴☠️ 5 – Dunkley v GEEL
@ GABBA, SAT 7:35pm
Wet weather won’t bother Dunks who has been in good tackling form this year laying 16 on the bad boys. A double-figure tackle game is on the cards here. He is coming off scores of 111 and 130, and has hit the ground running in 2025. He had 110 and 90 against the Cats last year but last week against the Saints, they allowed their top-10 scorers to average a massive 115. That is crazy!
