I’m spending up on Marshall Xerri Sheezel and Bont.
Is Shai going to step up? Where will he play?
JHF i think you will need to own him at some point should be top 6 forward, I am not starting him.
My team looks more balance with only Xerri and a value pick at R2
Not starting Sheez i think his price is maxed out no value.
Shai is on the watchlist for sure. May get a run through the Midfield but has a few in front of him..

Agreed on sheez but getting him in at one point could prove tough.
R3 – saints are trialing a SANFL bloke. With practically no one useful after Marshall, could prove to be half helpful if Marshall goes down.
What do people think of Luke Parker as an option in the fwd line
I reckon Clarko will use him as a playing coach, so JS nor solid. Limited minutes.
Thoughts on Sicily. Battle and Barrass could really free him up

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to deal with the early bye rounds. Should we avoid picking all players who have the early bye (eg Daicos, Coleman, Bailey Smith etc) or is it not a big deal? Cheers
Rule of thumb for me is no premiums … but you can take value. Bailey Smith is still a must, for example.

Get Fantasy coach … it’s a handy tool to have. Bye detector is a great part of it as well as breakevens, projections (these will be improved this year by Jaiden).
But – the figure you want to look at now is ‘Priced At’. You can see that number at the table I have set up at http://dreamteamtalk.com/2025prices.

current thoughts on some potential changes:
– prefer Holmes or Houston at D2/3, but early byes & suspensions has me going with Short..
– keeping an eye on Baker, but no Def hurts his chances..
– would like Bont at M1, but need the extra $$ elsewhere..
– Petracca could go to Ashcroft, allowing me to bring in Bont..
– Coleman is a watch to see if he is named in the 22, but he could be shifted as well (maybe to Humphries for a POD)..
– Dawson & Daicos are looking like my first upgrade targets..

Great balance within your squad. If you’re searching for an R3 with DPP keep Archer Reid in mind. He’s apparently been a standout so far for Eagles this preseason and could be pushing for a round one debut.
Reid & Heath are currently my R3 & UTL, both having DPP is a massive +
few updates, still not settled on about 5-6 players/positions atm..

thoughts on some potential changes:
– put in Schoenmaker due to injuries at Saints, not comfy seeing him at D5 tho, but to get him up to Roberts requires some shuffling i’m not comfortable with yet..
– iffy on Taranto at M3 as he has suggested he’ll play forward more, but his value and bye rounds have him in atm..
– swapped Cumming for Hollands in the hope he gets the Newman role (might change back)..
– intrigued by Boyd at R2, not against it, depends on the extent of Marshalls time out i suppose, one to watch..
– currently have S Davidson as UTL given English pre-season has been delayed, thinking if that takes longer, then Darcy plays R1 more, opening up a high half forward spot ..
With most fwd lines looking very similar, I don’t mind having a crack at a bit of a POD. Looking at some in form players at the back end of last season, I keep considering Connor Macdonald. Final 8 games (finals included) avg 88.7. Take away the 39 in the last finals game it’s 95.6. Crazy? Or someone to keep an eye on?

Not really, I’ve only have Xerri. Without the top of the line premiums it opens up a lot of options, but Brayshaw and Bont are good if you want mids without an early bye

You only have one real captain option, Setterfield unlikely to be in best 22, forwards basically the same as most of the rest of us – pretty solid. I’d say M1-3 are your weakest spots?
Agreed. Get rid of cripps and setters. Find a fwd POD. Vanilla forward line this year so one risk required
