Is Rozee to Yeo/Hunt or Constable (if named) an ok trade if it means me getting Wilmot up to Stewart? Or should I hold the upgrade to Stewart for next week as he will likely drop some more and instead double downgrade to get Uwland to a playing 200k rook this week (hopefully fahey if named)

Downgrading a premium, to upgrade to a premium, is kind of just shuffling the deckchairs.
Got to be somebody else you can downgrade instead of Rozee, while still bringing in Stewart? Holding on Bringing in Stewart is fine, he’s not going to go up by much if at all. Wilmott to Yeo/Hunt is an upgrade, especially if he’s on ground. But I do think Hunt has overachieved recently, and there is a good chance Yeo is managed again with the sub, while they get his calf back up to full load.
Can’t really consider bringing Constable in, when he’s clearly not in their best 22. Would definitely consider replacing Uwlan If you can find someone, as cash gen is looking to be a big issue so far.
Thanks Jungle muff. All that ended up going out the window though haha, it’s now got to be Day to Stewart and Docherty to Dawson. Still leaves me 280k for next week, will probably downgrade one of Davey or Wilmot and then go the other up to a premium somewhere. That’s providing no more setbacks.
Don’t go Yeo, I cant see him getting anymore than 70% TOG for a few weeks and maybe even the sub again. He’s still fat. Constable not worth the lack of job security, even if he’s named this week he might be out again the next. There is some cash gen in Hunt and he has more of a wing role, but I’m not convinced he will continue to dish out decent scores, you could get a 50 one week, but he’s the best of the three. Wouldn’t trade in hunt for Rozee though.
Now is the week to double downgrade. Steward going to drop/maintain price and u can watch on him for a week. Also DPP named after this week and always good to have some cash going into that to jump on the big names before others. Brisbane also playing North so couldnt be a few extra points for Wilmot.

I know everyone’s cash gen is an issue right now, but I’m not sure you’re in the position to be making luxury sideways trades for scores that have already passed.
Cash is king in this game, and you need to be prioritising that always if you want to improve your team.

2 of my pre-season gambles have failed drastically.. McGrath (pre-season all-hype team) & Cerra (over Serong due to Walsh injury) bothe need to go but not even sure which of the 2 have to go this week tbh..

Keep in mind I am writing this “post DEF carnage” as it were.
Tough round, seeing as a low 2000s score resulted in a rank increase. Was scratching my head as to how I could 1-up-1-down some rookies to maybe stretch to a Noah Anderson or Serong, and then the Doc/Day double basically made my choices for me.
So this week is all about shoring up the backline. I’m aware there’s a lot of talk about Hunt/Rivers as some value options but I’m not convinced either is sustainable and I think a premo-double whammy will sit me in good stead.
Doc/Day >>> Dawson/Sinclair
Simple? Predictable? Yes, but these are two guns who’ve both lost some cash and can average low 100s for the rest of the year, particular now with Dawson’s enhanced mid role. Duncan is a certified gun but the body scares me too much.
Rookie coverage looks decent if a few miss, but there’s always room for more carnage.
Next week: upgrade season begins. Get hype! Will be a lot of options as DPPs hit too.

-Macrae’s CBAs on the rise but still annoying me. Bevo Out!
