Thoughts on Whitfield to Llyod?
best rook under 220k
There is no “best” at that price, just pick who you think will play, Theyre all as likely as the next to be dropped, but personally id prefer rookies from worse performing teams because teams might just play the young guys when they know they cant make finals
Who scores me THIS week only..
Parker and Cripps (MacDonald remains on bench)
Steele and C. MacDonald on field (will go next week)
If you say Parker is a 100, cripps is a 85 for 185, vs steele at a 110-115 and macdonald for a 50 for a 165
Highly likely parker cripps gets you more points, but cripps could lose value this week (wouldnt expect him to go down too much however)
But this round player XXX will go down with Syndes, YYY will get concussed and ZZZ will go out for H&S protocols. So you can never guarantee next weeks trades. You might as well get the premos you want now while you can => get Steele now.
But then you might be left with MacDonald on field again next week. Getting your rookies off field is surely the priority for fiddling with premiums!
Whitfield -> Short
Cripps -> Steele
Or
Whitfield -> Sinclair
Cameron -> Gawn
??
Marshall or Taranto
Trading out Soligo. wondering whats best for 704,000? Should I go Tom Green averages 90. or go for cheaper Dangerfield whos much cheaper and have extra money in the bank. seems to be in better form since hes come back.
Scott has been pretty good at managing the old men in his team over the years. It’s possible danger is now being let loose ro go 100%. Or was it a one off?. Green seems to be stuck in his role now barring injuries to others. His ave is more like 80-85 these days. Warner looks good with the swans finish to the season.
That’s the problem with Dramafield. He is a great player, but he does not always translate that into Fantasy points. His points scoring can be highly variable, and he can be off injured at the drop of a hat, so he is a massive risk. I agree that Green is stuck in that role. However, for $704k, you are not going to get a top 8 Mid or top 6 Def/Fwd. There is a chance that Dramafield will improve, so I would take him out of the two. The other option is to double downgrade this week and have the cash to upgrade or double upgrade next week.
Mills or zerrett??
Whitfield and De Koning at F6 to Sinclair and a 190k rookie maybe jai culley or is it better to go Whitfield to Pendlebury and De Koning to Rowan Marshall (best I can afford for both positions)
Any help would be appreciated
Still not sure what to do with Whitfield – I have 797 to spend so I’m looking at one of these:
LDU – low b/e, good games coming, but in a losing team and won’t be top 10 mid
Taranto – could be top 5 forward, but will Hopper steal his points
Him’berg – looks good for a ton every week
Dale – limited ceiling but should be steady tons for a few rounds
Any comments would be appreciated.
