Thursday 28th April – Early news

No early Thursday or late Monday games this week, but we have another weird Friday night double header.

Already some early carnage with poor Eagles side hit by Covid protocols again, including gun rookie Greg Clark and Alex Witherden. Freo are missing a couple as well in Acres, Colyer and Lobb, but are expecting Heath Chapman and Hayden Young back. DOns have had a setback with Stringer now out for about 1 month, and Dangerfeld is expected to be available for the cats. Billings and Zac Zones are looking likely at Saints which is trouble for players such as Windhager. Also a big inclusion coming for Tigers, with Dustin Martin coming back from his time out.

A bit of covid carnage here for Freo, but luckily not much in terms of DT relevance. PODS Young and Chapman are back if anyone held. The off team had Miller Bergman as a rookie, after a unlucky score of 3 hes out with an injury. Pretty big in for Roos with Jed Anderson, who is super pricey premo and risky, but Ive added to my watchlist.

The name that pops out here is cats mid rookie Cooper Stephens who has impressive numbers in the 2nds and was on everyones watchlist preseason.
