$75k kitty on Saturday and $60k for Sunday
Good luck and please, gamble responsibly.
Dayne Zorko (M/F, $15,520)
Saturday v Adelaide
Zorko has hit form is like no other at the moment. He has a lowest score of 118 in his last five games and has averaged 128 in his last three.
This is a great match-up for the champ who needs to be in our teams because of his ceiling. Zorko has the ability to hit 140+, just like he did last week and in round 16, the match-up is even easier.
Matthew Kennedy (MID, $11,270)
Saturday v Fremantle
He’s value and has scored 93 and 110 in his last two games. The role seems to be there for Kennedy seems to have grabbed it with both hands. His match-up is great as well as he meets the Dockers, a team who can give up plenty of points on their day.
Paddy Dow (MID, $6,080)
Saturday v Fremantle
Just like his team mate above, this is far from a sexy-Draftstars’ pick but based on the match-up, the fact he scores 77 last week and his price, Dow will feature in many teams this weekend.
Nic Newman (DEF, $11,290)
Saturday v Fremantle
I LOVE THIS.
With Docherty and Williams both out, Newman will be called upon like never before.
Here we have a guy who was the medial-sub last week and came on to score 111 (11 marks) in just 60% time on ground. As we know, Newman can score and score quickly as he meets the Dockers who give up the MOST points to defenders this year.
He couldn’t possibly tick anymore boxes.
Jordan De Goey (M/F, $9,990)
Sunday v St Kilda
De GOAT averaged 98 in his last three games before being suspended. The midfield time is there for the De GOAT at the moment and just like those above him, the match-up is a nice one for him to walk back in to. St Kilda ranks as the fourth easiest this year for midfielders to score against and that’s the role the GOAT has been playing and should continue to do for the remainder of the year.
Marcus Bontempelli (MID, $17,090)
Sunday v Kangaroos
Ok… yes he is top dollar but hear me out….
- Bont has a lowest score of 120 in his last five.
- This week he goes for his 11th straight 100+ score.
- The Bont plays the Roos, who are the 2nd easiest team for MIDS to score against this year and the #1 easiest over the last five weeks.
- A Brownlow Medal is well within his reach, he’s the favourite and will keep firing away.
- Late Sunday afternoon he will once again put on a show and a score of 150+ is not out of the question, in fact, it’s what I’m expecting.
REMINDER: Final teams for Sunday are announced tonight and be sure to check final teams before entering your team to play.
