Good luck and please, gamble responsibly.
Joe Daniher (RUC/FWD, $10,480)
Saturday v Kangaroos
We need a ruck and sometimes this is the best spot to start when making your team… when you look across Daniher’s numbers, they are pretty handy. He has only dropped under 70 once in his last eight games.
The Lions should win this one and hopefully JD can slot a few, pinch hit in the ruck and clock up a nice 80, or even a big 115 that he scored back in round five.
Deven Robertson (MID, $8,680)
Saturday v Kangaroos
At this price, we can’t go wrong and add to that… he plays the Roos, the team that has given up the most points so far across all positions this year.
Dev has been scoring ok to with 81, 79, 72 and 70 coming in his most recent games. We’ll take any of those.
Zac Williams (DEF/MID, $11,240)
Saturday v GWS
Zac has been painful to watch this year but since moving to the half-back, he has been good with an average of 87 in his last three games.
Up against his old team we are expecting his first 100 this year. Will we get it? Ummmm, let’s hope so anyway.
Josh Kelly (MID/FWD, $15,160)
Saturday v Carlton
Fresh off a big 152 last week, Kelly is set to rip this one up as well.
He has now scored 100+ in his last six games and meets a team he has scored 120 and 153 against in his last two games. West Coast scored well against the Blues last time Carlton played where Sheed (123) and Redden (120) posted good scores.
Kyle Langford (MID/FWD, $12,490)
Sunday v Hawthorn
This is the easiest match-up in town as the Bombers take on the Hawks (read below for more details.)
Langford has been awesome in recent weeks averaging 113 in his last three, thanks to scores of 114, 123 and 102. As he can be selected as a forward, his value increases here and should be in your plenty of DS teams for this Launceston clash on Sunday.
Darcy Parish (MID, $16,110)
Sunday v Hawthorn
Ok… my hot tip is one of the most expensive players, but what I’m saying is, you need to bend over backwards to get him in and here are the reasons why spending up is justified and necessary.
- Parish is averaging 142 in his last three
- He is averaging 133 since round 6.
- The Hawks are the easiest team to score against this year for midfielders and the easiest over the last five weeks as well.
- Last week, Sydney had 5×100+ scores against the Hawks and before that, Touk Miller had 160, Ellis 130 and Lukosius 125.
- Traditionally, Utas Stadium is a high scoring venue and on Sunday there is no reason why this would change.
REMINDER: Final teams for Sunday are announced tonight and be sure to check final teams before entering your team to play.
