Fixture planning and key rules

Warnie wrote a piece for AFL.com.au which outlines the key things to know and some strategy advice. Click here to view it.

  • Team announcements 6:20pm AEST the day before game for the rest of the season.
  • Final teams (ie. late changes) lodged 60 mins before games.
  • Average scores awarded to players on a by IF they played the previous round.
  • Bye players locked at the start of the round.
  • Classic: 3 trades per round for the rest of the season.
  • Draft: RFAs cleared at 10am AEST the day after round ends.

      Mitchell’s really consistent, always manages to get 90+ (got 89 this week) Boak’s last 5 scores are pretty good, and Steele’s another good option. If you wanna play it safe go Steele or Mitchell. Worpel’s also out of the side so Mitchell might get more of the ball.

    Hey team anyone have any idea when Brisbane and gold coast teams are released? I still have Witherden would like to hold him but not sure if he will play and running out of time to if I have to jump over to Haynes .

      Bris v GC teams should be announced around 6.20pm AEST. Unless you hear an earlier update from say one of the Bris coaching staff re Witherden, you’ll have to make the Haynes trade before 5.40pm AEST.

      Didn’t know about Doc- might keep a trade spare, though was thinking of parting with Gaff. Prob. not now.
