GWS were the second highest fantasy scoring team in the 2019 H&A season averaging 1655.8pts per game, an increase of 74.3pts was the biggest jump in the AFL last season compared to 2018.
The Giants recorded 400 Disposals or more in 4 games last season, they averaged 383.9 Disposals per game (Rank 5).
GWS had to tap into their depth last season after being impacted by injuries, a healthier 2020 may provide several premium scoring options.

2020 Potential Targets:
Sam Jacobs RUCK $514K
The ownership for Jacobs could be quite healthy to begin the 2020 season, he is heavily discounted based on his previous scoring history.
For those looking to move away from the Grundy/Gawn Ruck combo to begin 2020 Jacobs does offer that ability to provide value in a significant scoring fantasy team at the Giants, the early opponents for Jacobs will likely provide an immediate salary jump (R1 v Stanley GEE, R2 v Gawn MEL, R3 v English WB, R4 v Bellchambers ESS).
The likely quick cash increase is important just in case a trade decision is required, although Shane Mumford is clearly in a back-up role now the threat from the Giants of being conservative on player health is always a factor.
It is important to consume as much information on the Ruck situation at the Giants over the pre-season if you are considering Jacobs.
Lachie Whitfield MID/FWD $844K
The MID/FWD DPP status for Whitfield is extremely valuable for fantasy coaches in 2020, locking him into what appears to be thin premium FWD options at Round 1 should provide some stability in scoring at that position.
The DPP status for Whitfield could also be utilised over the Bye period in Round 13, if you are going to be thin for MID premiums in Round 13 then he could be moved across as cover depending on where your team build is at.
Whitfield averaged 126.4pts in the early part of the 2019 season prior to being injured in Round 6, he recorded a career high 190pts in Round 9 last year.
The price tag is high for Whitfield to begin the season, if he maintains or increases his salary it will a tough upgrade throughout the season.
"A gift"…
Despite the high price tag, The Traders think we should pay up for Lachie Whitfield (MID/FWD, $844k) in Classic and would lock him in if your had pick 2 in your Draft.

Callan Ward MID $539K
Nearly 12 months removed from rupturing his ACL Ward will be heavily discounted at the beginning of the 2020 H&A season, there is the risk he could be eased back into his contested midfield role but if he is given the all clear after completing a full pre-season he is definitely worth considering.
Ward has never averaged fewer than 90.0pts in a season at the Giants, he averaged a career season high 100.4pts in 2015. Ward also played in 100.0% of games between 2015 & 2018.
The upside is definitely available for Ward in 2020, however there are quite a few check boxes that need to be ticked off prior to selecting him at Round 1.
