Sunday extended bench selections are in! New debut for saints with Brandon White (Def $156,000 AF $121,300 DT), and Jack Fitzpatrick (Def/Fwd) gets a go for the hawks. Stef Martin owners can be relieved that neither Archie Smith or Trent West made the cut, although the fact both are named as emergencies make a few people jittery. Jarred Jansen didnt make the cut, and Jade Gresham is rested.
6:30pm Thursday 25/08/2016
Final round of the home and away season, and much anticipated teamsheets are in! If you actually made any Grand finals that is. Congratulations to all who made it this far! We already knew Sloane was out with suspension, and Brodie Smith, Nic Nat are injured, so you need to cover if you have them. As for cover, you wont be relying on Sam Collins, Callum Mills, Jackson Paine, Connor Menadue(seriously anyone still have him?) who are all out. Jimmy Bartel is back as you would have expected, as is Sam Kerridge., and rookie Jack Silvagni (Fwd) is in. A few cheap rookie options in if you need the cash grab, Mabior Chol (Ruck/Fwd $125,000 AF $105,800 DT) debuts for tigers, we see Nick Kommer (Fwd/Mid $136,000 AF $128,200 DT), remember him? actually get a game for the bombers, and two youngsters blooded at port Riley Bonner (Def $158,000 AF $121,300 DT) and William Snelling (Mid $125,000 AF $119,300 DT)

Grand Final YOLO time, the one week where trading in a risky midpricer isnt as risky. You dont need them next week, just this week. Cam Ellis-Yolmen (Mid $380,000 AF $394,200 DT) got a handy 90 the one week he has played, and is in for Sloane so he should get more mid time. If cash only allows you to get a midpricer in, you could take a punt.

If you dont quite have the cash for an uber premium, and perhaps you are sideways an injury or fallen premium, you might consider a player like Mitch Duncan (Mid $466,000 AF $483,300 DT) who is a bit hit and miss, but certainly has a high ceiling, and also the sort of player they might let loose in the final game of the season.

I still dont see Stephen Coniglio (Mid $519,000 AF $539,900 DT) in many teams with only 4.59%, and Im not 100% sure why. The GWS mids are a mixed bag, but Coniglio has been the most consistent. he did have a poor 77 last week but tonned 5 times consecutively before. Could be a great POD for you in your Grand Final.

Sebastian Ross (Mid $469,000 AF $495,800 DT) has had a breakout season this year, although somewhat erratic with some low scores, his ceiling is huge. Being a bit cheaper than an uber premium player, and he is playing Brissy, coming off a 132 to boot, hes as good as any to take a punt as a POD in a Grandfinal.

Seems to have settled in well back from injury, his 144 last week makes Jason Johannisen (Def $446,000 AF $467,000 DT) a very popular trade in, and playing another easy match against Fremantle (I still find that strange) he should score well again this week. If your backline needs fixing, hes a great option.

Im doing that with Armitage, who is on my bench and seems to either get a tonne or a 50, and if he scores well, I will take his score instead of one of my hawks defenders (last game of round, I have Gibson, Birchal and Whitex).

In the same situation with Titch and Stef. Stef hadn’t scored over 90 all season when there’s been a 2nd ruck and id dare Grundy will go 120-130 now that Ceglar is out for Hawthorn. Titch has been poor lately but is due for a big one. I’d feel more confident that Grundy will outscore Stef than Neale out scoring Titch

depend sif the other problems in your team are a good chance off getting a score around 60, which is what stef gets when he is partnered in the ruck. If they are not going to get a score of 60, then trade stef, if they can get a score of 60, then loook at who’s repacement will score more.

Yep I reckon. Headache Heath could go big, and you’d be spewing if you missed it. Jacobs should take care of a weakened WC ruck at home, and Steven could get a Robbo tag and turn into a piece of shit.

So I’m about $20k short of going Martin to Grundy so looking at options to get the cash
Should I go
Kelly to JJ
Or
Hall/Martin to Montagna?

Assuming one of West/Archie Smith make the final team for the Lions, what is the best combo to go with.
1 – Stef Martin, JJ, Hodge.
2 – Grundy, JJ, Hanley.
2 – Grundy, Vince, McVeigh.
