  • 1st

  • *Rockliff

  • This isn’t the official injury list, there’s no mention of Pratt or Newton. This is the Hun edition which is crap.

    • What’s up your @rse. The guys do a great job here and don’t need to hear that shyte…

  • it says on essendon website that watson and hurley are both tests this week

    • At a club function last night they were both saying they will be out for another week.

  • This looks ok this week… (only a couple of teams still from last week).

    • Interesting – Fyfe isn’t on the Sportal, AFL or Fremantle injury list, yet he’s on this one!?!?!

  • Found it interesting that the Sunday Footy Show had Sandi as 2-3 weeks; and if the Hawks beat Freo this week, I’m not sure they will rest him as they would have hoped. Then again, why would you want to risk further injury to your most important player – so I reckon Freo learnt their lesson from last year.

  • trade rockliff or not?

    • He has 1 week left…why waste a trade now?

    • lol

    • WTF No!!!! Rocky is premium hell be back if not this week then next. Don’t trade Prems unless theyre injured longterm, consistently performing badly and dropping massively in value. You’ll regret it sunny!!!

  • Any chance for Otten this week?

  • Goddard looks ok for this week, but can never be sure until teams are named on thursday ;)

Matera out is a blessing in disguise as he was on the chopping block, but can wait another week due to having adequate cover :)

  • This week im downgrading harris to mzungu and upgrading libba… i will have enough cash in the bank to get any midfielder, my main options are boyd, pendles, s. thompson and marc murphy, the thing is with pendles i already have swan, and i dont really need another player like murphy and thompson that no1 has bcoz i already have mundy, it seems like a given to go boyd but im still not sure. any help would me must appreciated guys :)

    • If you don’t have Boyd, you must get Boyd!

I have Boyd but am doing the exact same trades – I have a bit less cash so can’t afford Murphy unless I used Swallow as a trade (which I am considering).

Otherwise it’s Hodge, Thompson, Mundy, Judd, Shiels, Ablett or Montagna for me.

      • hodge has hit some great form and is cheap, if u want a player that is unique to your team then get shiels but risky, for me it would be hodge would be my chioce. Mont is unreliabke and coming up against pies this week. judd against port is looking like a big score, thomspon is in career best form in a struggling side, mundy is not doing aswell with his team under peforming and ablett isnt finding it easy to cope with the tired bodies of the younger players

    • Its not a bad idea what you propose, however consider:
      – league or overall/eliminator goal
      – how many trades you’ve got left
      – who are your 1st and 2nd back ups in fwd/mid/def for the rest of the year.

I am trying to complete reports at the moment, arrgh!

But priorities has me developing a trading strategy with this very much in mind as I have harris, libba, matera, obrien who all spudded it on the weekend and the cherry on the cake is Bartel! I think I have a solution, but I probably have to keep sandi now, firstly cause my cows in mids and fwds all sucked and secondly because Bartel sucked. I had it all planned out too, a week is a long time in DT!

I reckon you are punching a sizeable hole in your mids backup with harris and libba going.

  • Spewing Rockliff :(, gonna have to play Mzungu for the week

  • woooo, no BARLOW. Playing for Peel this week end. Come on Freo!

  • No Pratt or Fritter.

Can Pederson please get a game and Harper too, TKOL have a word to your coaches for me about this please.

  • Glad that Watson is on track for the initial predictions of his injury, rather than consistently being listed as 2-3 weeks for 8 weeks :D

Really tossing up between Murphy or Hodge to upgrade to. Murphy I have a feeling will keep his dominant scoring up but he really is at a premium price now. Hodge on the other hand is cheap so I can use the money elsewhere to upgrade next week but I’m not sure if he’ll dominate as much.

Argh, so tempted to just make a decision and do the trade, will save it tormenting me all week!

  • Seriously Cam Bruce, take your time, in fact have the rest of the season off, you deserve it. #hawksfan

  • from Bribane Lions website:

    Tom Rockliff
He’s progressing well. He’s back running again now, so we just have to see how he tracks with that this week. Hopefully he’s ready for next week’s game.

Sounds like he’ll def miss the week (heard rumours he might be back this weekend)

  • Sorry guys must be a mistake…. Higgins isn’t listed!
Surely he has an ingrown hair or loose toe nail or something

    • Believe Higgins hurt himself in a freak hair styling accident.
Could be out for weeks – depends on how long it takes to grow out.

  • Hmmm????? GODDARD is test… he won’t play they won’t risk him…

  • I think the picture at the top of this page should be of Higgins with a bandaid on him.

  • How skinny does Higgins look at the moment i reckon he’s lost 10 kilo his arms are like twigs. Missy Higgins might be out with a bruised boob wait for teams to be named
