Wednesday 30th April – NEWS

Its week 3 of the AFL, and we have another Thursday night clash teams list tonight with Doggies vs Swans. Teamsheets to be announced below.

Make sure you check the injury list here

Rory Laird is listed as available and should be named for crows,Cerra and also Nic Martin should be inclusions after missing a week due to protocols.

The big news at Dons this week was Merrett will be out injured for awhile, but there is a chance that rookie Ben Hobbs might get a run, with murmurs Shiel is still in doubt. Sam De Koning will be available for selection after concussion week out, but confirm if he makes the 22. Tarryn Thomas will unfortunately miss a month or two with serious internal bruising, so if you have him as a POD hes a must trade. Also Paddy Ryder is available for a return, which could make Jack Hayes owners a little bit nervous. Justin McInerney is listed as a test for his knee niggle, but there are reports he didnt fly to Melbourne, so likely remains out. NB: Confirmed, he’s not named. Mundy will miss a week at freo for covid protocols, and Fyfe had surgery and will be out for at least 6 weeks leaving space in freos midfield. And for Eagles, a huge list of players (including popular bench rookies Brady Hough, and Hugh Dixon,) should be available for selection assuming they pass protocol tests, but we wont know for sure who is in until friday afternoon sunday extended selection is named. Andrew Gaff has a foot injury and is in doubt. Bailey Smith trained well this week and we’ll know shortly if he plays for Doggies tomorrow night (Nb: Confirmed, he’s in).
