Roy’s Trade and Rolling 22 Talk – Rd. 17

With plenty of bullets flying around, Roy gives you a few trade options as well as updating his Rolling 22.

Get them in:

Zac Williams (DEF, $604,000)
Since returning from injury, Williams has been of fire with a three game average of 113 and he hasn’t gone under triple figures in that time. His ownership still remains low at 14% and that is predominantly people that held him from the start rather than trading him in. There are slight concerns the return of Lachie Whitfield will slow him down but with the Giants injury concerns, I doubt it will bother him. He has a BE of 52 and is a great upgrade target for that price.

Tom Rockliff (MID, $740,000)
The Pig returned from a hamstring complaint through the SANFL where he racked up a lazy 52 possessions for 200+ points and he carried his form into the top competition with 150. He has a five round average of 111 and is a prime cash grab candidate for Josh Kelly owners to take a cash grab. The Power have one of the best runs for midfielders for the remainder of the season and we know Rocky is one of the all time greats.

Rowan Marshall (RUC/FWD, $704,000)
The big Saint keeps getting it done and his 108 on the weekend was very impressive given it was in a loss and against Todd Goldstein. He is averaging 114 in his last five which makes him a viable option in both the forward line or ruck department especially given his next two match ups are as easy as it gets for rucks with the Cats and Dogs giving up huge numbers to opposition big men.

Jack Billings (FWD/MID, $708,000)
The once frustrated Billings owners and now walking around like peacocks… and rite-fully so given the Saint midfielders five game average of 113. He now has a season average of 100 and a break even of 82 with massive scores of 170 and 128 within his last four weeks.

James Sicily (DEF, $570,000)
The Hawks ‘swingman’ finally looks settled in the back line and given the fact he has bottomed out on the back of an impressive 121. Know we know with Sic Dawg isn’t going to come without the odd headache but for that price he is undeniable value. After this week, his draw isn’t the easiest for defenders but at his best he is in the mix for the top six defenders.

You… Get the Chop

Connor Blakely (DEF, $544,000)
After scoring an impressive 104 with plenty of time running through the middle against the Blues, it was a harsh wakeup call against the Eagles where he scored about 5 points in the second half to finish on 42. If you are forced to hold, he has a good match up against the Hawks this week but if you can trade him out, do it.

My Trades

At this stage my trades are Kelly to Rockliff and Logue to Williams.
