Roy’s Trade and Rolling 22 Talk – Rd. 9

Roy has a look at some prime targets to trade in including fallen premiums, uniques and of course a Pig that is set to feast this weekend.

Get them in:

Josh Dunkley (FWD/MID, $645,000)
Okay, we have seen enough. After a shocking start to the year (not entirely his fault) playing a variety of roles that weren’t necessarily Fantasy friendly, popular round one selection, Dunkley, managed a high score of 85 in the first six rounds. Since then however, he is back in the middle where he belongs and his scoring has reflected that with 145 and 127 in the last two rounds. He is down to 12 per cent ownership after everyone traded him out and has a break even of just 49. He has a couple of tough games leading up to the bye including the Cats and Eagles, but at this price, with that ceiling he has to be a priority.

Mitch Duncan (MID, $750,000)
The forgotten Cat is in fact the form player of the competition and if you are in the market for a unique player, look no further. His last three weeks have been an absolute master class with an average of 131 after scores of 130, 120 and 142 in his last three. In that time, his marking has been a highlight recording 12, 10 and 12 which racking up a handy amount of possessions and tackles around that. He has a break even of 80 and has a one per cent ownership leading into a dream run of games against the Dogs, Suns, Swans and Tigers.

Tom Rockliff (MID, $697,000)
Is having an under rated season. Remove the game when we was knocked out and he has only had one bad game for the year while on the flip-side, rewarded his coaches with four scores of 115 or over, three scores of 132 or over, two scores of 149 or over and one thumping score of 166, all within eight weeks. He is still truly in the elite bracket and with Ollie Wines out, coupled with a run home that includes games against the Suns, Hawks and Saints leading into the bye… The snout will be on full display over the next three weeks.

James Sicily (DEF, $659,000)
Has had a solid start to the season but the writing is on the wall that he is ready to go bang… And bang he will this week. In the last five weeks he has three scores over 110 which is rare for a defender and he will do it again this week with interest as he is coming up against the point leaking Tigers. If you love instant reward, jump on the Sic Dawg who will easily cover his break even of 97.

Tim Kelly (FWD/MID, $699,000)
Although he is nearly 700K, if you are one of the 64 per cent of the competition that doesn’t own Kelly, you need to work out how to make it happen. He is averaging 118 in his last three on the back of a massive game against the Roos where he scored a season high 141 and he is carrying a BE of just 67 in a game against the Dogs where he will probably double that. The fact he plays the Suns, Swans and Tigers after that means this is the last time you will see him under $700,000 for a long time.

You… Get the Chop

Angus Brayshaw (MID, $670,000)
I full understand if you gave Gus one last chance against the Suns who leak points to everybody, but somehow, even despite his putrid role change, couldn’t get it done, scoring just 76 to back up from his 65 the week before. He has a break even of 137 leading into a tough matchups with the Eagles and then Giants in his next two and is a problem you don’t need. Trade.
