Why should I pick him?

We all love a player who is seeking more opportunities and Rosa is right up the top of the list in 2016, and he’s a defender.

Check out his last five years of averages. 74, 92, 70, 92 and 86. As a defender, we take this every day of the week.

He is destined to play on the wing. There is a fair bit of information coming out at the moment, which strongly indicates, Rosa will be floating up the ground, if not starting on the wing. He’ll be right in the thick of things and scoring points like he has in the past with the Eagles.

He scored 90 in the Qualifying final against the Hawks, but was then handed the green vest in the next two finals for scores of 10 and 29.

He’s priced at an average of 74, but has been on the outer with the Eagles in recent years, struggling to make their best 22. Green vests and injuries, brings him to us this year nice and cheap and prime for the picking.

Why shouldn’t I pick him?

He’s a hyped up player and with a whole chuck of the Fantasy world already locking him in, you might be better looking in the other direction. Go on, be different!

He does come with some risks this year. He hasn’t played a full season of football in 7 years, only stepping onto the ground in 59% of his games in the last three years.

Oh and will he even play on the wing? “More midfield time” is a term we hear a lot about at this time of the year and the fact he’s at the Suns, might mean he’ll be even worse.

What happened to Nick Malceski when he joined the Suns? He flopped!

In the two years prior to joining the Suns, Malceski averaged 83 and 92 with the Swans as a premium defender. Then…66. Could Rosa be in the same boat up the same river?

Deck of DT Rating.

QUEEN – Hey, he could be a king. King of the backline if he can push his average back to where it has been in the past. Potentially… he could average 90+, after all he has before. But I think it’s fairer to have him around the 85 mark, which still makes him a starter in your team come round one.

Believe the hype, because this wingman could be your ultimate wingman in 2016.
