Trade Talk Tuesday: Round 14

Tony Tawk has written a trade article this week to give us a forum to discuss our ideas. Throw some names out there and have a think before team selections Friday night.

It was a very low-scoring week. Our premiums let us down.  The highest score this week was 2322, which is a great score, but low on the usual high. I know Warnie got in the 1800’s. I’m ashamed to say I barely scraped over 1700. But we still got things to look forward to. Swan is coming back next week, along with Pendles, Shaw etc.

It’s still upgrade time, so people should be working hard on their teams. I know I only got 4-5 trades left to upgrade. By now, everyone should have 19-20 premiums in their team. Make sure you keep enough trades and money for the finals. Let’s take a look and who we should be upgrading this week.

Upgrade:

Heppell – I know I said he was a keeper, but he’s going down in price.

Lower – Only went up by $1000 this week, so get him out soon.

Adcock – Out for 4 weeks, trade him.

Liberatore – Scores are beginning to drop and so is his price.

Darling – Been great, but like others, is beginning to go down in price.

Get in:

Goodes – Really starts to peak in the second half

Ablett – Is beginning to kill it and both his byes are done.

Kreuzer – He’s playing good footy, and he’s cheap and a unique pick, so could be a good buy.

Hodge – Now that he’s over his injury, he should start getting back to his best.

Some underpriced guns to keep in mind are: Stanton, Sylvia, Higgins, Enright and Rawlings.
