Tonight is a big night… most of our Dream Team heroes will be right up there! DT guns Gary Ablett, Jimmy Bartel with underestimated DTer, Brent Harvey leading the way. We all love a punt and will throw quite a few dollars on some of our boys tonight… but I think Dream Team is effecting my judgement a little. For starters, one of my boys, Brent Stanton, isn’t on The Tote’s Sportsbet list for Essendon players. He is “Any Other Player” paying $12! Now I don’t know, but surely he is a pretty good chance to get the most votes for the Bombers? He was ranked 16th in DT (David Hille was next, a fair way behind) and played all games, is a goal kicking mid-fielder… he has got a bit going for him! Hmm… so this got me thinking, there must be a few “good bets” to be getting on for tonight while we are knocking back some beers! I reckon that everyone should have a scull for any player that was in their 2008 Dream Team! That’ll surely get you pissed… unless you are Vin and had the likes of Nathan Jones in your team!

Yes I beleive I was! Shit yeah I do. Where’s Boomers medal and where’s my money!
Right… I put money on Brent Harvey to win the Aylett medal paying $16. I invested a little $10. So someone owes me $160! Fevola kicked 6.2 goals and only had 10 touches. Harvey kicked 3 goals and 23 touches! Yeah Fev was good… but Boomer was clearly best on! CLEARLY!! (I say that one shouting).
