Last year we had around 2000 people join in one of the biggest DT groups in the world. We are going around once again and want you to be involved.

We are looking for a sponsor to give a prize away (otherwise it might just end up being signed Calvin’s Captains notes or maybe 2007 Prospectus). While you mightn’t really know what you’re doing, you’ll be able to get a bit of a look at the basis of AFL Dream Team for 2012 with some of the features there. For example, the tabs on the side, new Twitter league, and the social media like coaches box where you can comment just like Facebook.

Well done Aaron on finishing 5th overall for the year too. A massive effort.

The final round is here and the 8 isn’t quite set. It has been pleasing this year to see that the All-Stars we have selected this year have known what they’re talking about and are looking pretty good!

Daniel Harford and Nick Maxwell have both been pretty good this season… beating quite a few other so called experts. We’ll be helping Brodie Smith and Nathan Grima in the off-season to help them become DT superstars, on and off the field.

Monty and Molly from the Coaches Box Podcast are traveling alright, with Molly currently 3rd overall, but fighting to make the 8.

The man who had a lot to say early in the season, Dr Dream Team, will miss the 8 and battle for the Tit-ed Cup. What a shame.

Time for a well overdue update on the DT Talk Allstars League!

After the dreadful MBR’s were finally over, we were all excited to get back into some real competition in our leagues. I’m happy to say that after losing in Rnd 3 to Roy, Team FLOSSY is back on the winners list and holding the number 2 spot on the ladder!

Unfortunately Dr. Dream Team is leading everyone on total points scored, but the rest of us are pretty keen to see that change.

The league that we’re in to follow this year is one we created to get some Dream Team All-Stars together from around the traps to compete for the ultimate DT battle.

Round 1 Results

The DT TALK Boys; Roy (destROY), Warnie (Warne Dawgs) and Calvin (Calvinator) are joined by their masked mate Chopper (I’m Not Happy), rookie expert Chook (Merv Gray Autos) and new blogger tbetta (Tbetta Than You) to represent the DT TALK stable. They take on m0nty (FanFooty EDT) and Molly (CoachesBox Podcast) from the Coaches Box Podcast who know their stuff. Champion Data is represented by the Fantasy Freako who has helped us all with our teams this year by providing the preseason stats we needed! Alex from Alex’s Sweet Dream Team will show us why he has a f*cking sweet team… but judging by round one, he has a bit of work to do! They call Caroline Wilson football’s first lady, well Amanda (Team FLOSSY) is Dream Team’s first lady. She is representing the chicks. Daniel Harford (HARF SERIOUS) does a Dream Team segment with Luffy from Champion Data on Thursday’s on SEN. Nick Maxwell (Stjoeysonslaught) is the face of Dream Team this year, so we added him to the league to see how he would go. Our Tassie mate Nathan Grima (Snake on jelly) was keen to take us on after we spoke to him in the second pre-season episode this year. Adelaide’s rookie Brodie Smith (Pure bs) is a DT TALK fan, so we got him on board too!

And of course, Dr Dream Team the so called PhD AFL joined to take us on as his main league. There has been plenty of sledging over the preseason… and the Doc has fired the first barb after the season started when he beat Warnie! There was even a dig at this league in his latest article, talking himself up a fair bit. He can talk the talk, and at the moment he is walking the walk! Let’s see how this battle pans out!

Did you know that if your DT TALK league isn’t full by lock out on Thursday night… it may turn into a crappy public league? it’s so so sad, but true and who wants to be in a friendless league? Not me!

Check your league and in the comments, name your league and the code for others to sign up…  if there are spots free.

The DT TALK/Boags Draught Group is pumping and now we have a prize for the winner in 2011.

The Prize:

For those over 18 years of age – The winner of the group will receive a DT TALK Boags Party in 2012 in your nearest capital city within Australia. This means, the DT TALK boys will fly your way, to have weekend on the Boags and to watch some footy. Prize includes tickets to the footy and a night on the Boags. It’s our shout!

For those under 18 – DT TALK will still come to your nearest capital city within Australia for a weekend of footy. No beers, just footy. A party will still be set up in your honour, but unfortunately you won’t be attending.

The Process

It will cost you $300 to enter and the first 13 people to respond will receive an email confirming their position in the league with DT TALK’s bank details so your entry fee can be deposited.

$300 must be deposited within 2 days of you receiving your confirmation email or your position will be passed to the next people in line.

When your entry has been received, you will then be sent a “We have your money” email with the league code attached. Then join us and let the fun begin!
