  • 1. Nic Naitanui and Kennedy to goldy/Martin and shuey

    2. Nic Nat and Kennedy to goldy/Martin and Ed Curnow

    3. Nic Naitanui and Kennedy to Sinclair and Heppell

    1,2 or 3 guys

  • Goldy or Martin?

    • I’m more drawn towards S.Martin because he has had only two scores below 90 for the season. T.Goldstein has had eight scores below 90 this season.

  • Rocky or Taranto to trade?

    • I’d suggest wait on teams on Thursday to decide this. If Rocky is named FWD again now that Gray is likely to be out, trade him. Gray going down is going to affect one Rocky or Wingard in the coming weeks I’d suggest.

  • Worth turnuing Ahern into Dangerfield?

    • I wouldn’t, but i guess if you have no one else to upgrade then go for it

  • With $500K of salary, I’ve gone with:
Seedsman to Macrae and Doedee to Dangerfield.

With the swapping of players via DPP this is the team with $43K
Next week, E.Phillips and Ahern will be traded, one being an upgrade to a premium and a downgrade for the other.

DEF: Laird, Yeo, Brayshaw, Hurley, T.McDonald, Witherden (Redman, Brown)
MID: Titch, Macrae, J.Kelly, Coniglio, Cripps, Taranto, E.Phillips, Ahern (Sier, J.Smith)
    RUC: Gawn, Sinclair (Abbott, Cameron)
FWD: D.Smith, Westhoff, Dangerfield, McLean, Franklin, Robinson (Battle, Giro)

  • This weeks trades:
    Sier – 170k mid
    Parker – Macrae

Teams feeling pretty bloody good now

DEF: Laird, Yeo, Llyod, Brayshaw, Whitfield, Sicily, (Lynch, J Smith)
MID: Titch, Macrae, Coniglio, Gibbs, Beams, Danger, Merrett, Redden (Giro, Freeman)
    RUC: Gawn, Martin (Abbott, Cameron)
FWD: D.Smith, McLean, Menagola, Heeney, Rockliff, Billings (Ahern, Wilson)

    3k Remaining

  • Who to upgrade?!?! Tough decisions ahead.

DEF: Laird Brayshaw Yeo Whitfield Simpson Hurley
MID: Titch Merrett Zorko Danger Duncan Dusty Neale Adams
    RUC: Gawn Martin
FWD: Smith Westhoff McLean Rocky Sicily Wingard

Thinking Rocky or McLean (not getting enough mid time) to a top 8 mid via Danger
OR Simpson to Lloyd as i’m still worried about that calf and Lloyd could b huge vs Gold Coast

    • If id pick, id probably go rocky to a top 8 mid, Simmo can pump out 110 anyway but rocky seems to be pulling his old drop offs

  • 12k banked

Laird, Yeo, Sicily, Brayshaw, Lloyd, Doedee, (Redman, Murphy)

Titch, Dangerfield, Coniglio, Merrett, Neale, Shuey, Cripps, Caddy, (Sier, Worpel)

    Gawn, Nank, (Omac, DCam)

McLean, Smith, Westhoff, Rocky, Heeney, Ahern (ZGL, Wilson,)

Ive done ZGL to Riordan in the backline via Murphy and then caddy up to Jacky Steven with 15k in the kitty,

    Thoughts?

  • Are we expecting a final round of DPP’s this week?

  • What’s the better option here? Currently have E.Phillips on ground.

    a) Rice and E.Phillips to O’Riordan and Cogs (O’Riordan on ground).

    b) E.Phillips and Waterman to 170k MID and Danger FWD with Fritsch at M8.

  • for next week, will it be better to upgrade Ahern to 500-600k fwd or get macrae for a poor performing mid like sideass

    • Give Sidey another chance, he was tagged and BOG against Essendon last week. Also try and generate $ to upgrade Ahern to a 600k+ fwd, unless you don’t have Buddy/Taranto.

  • I really need Freeman, or some other 170k rookie, to debut this week in order to convert Fritsch to Dangerfield. Leaves 1k in the bank!

  • Calvin…. oh Calvin, calvin, Calvin what are we gonna do with you. For a record streak you have once again failed with the captains choices. Grundy shit, Gawn crap. Who is gonna be top 2 next week.. natanui and Robbie gray, I personally think they would be better choices thanks yours and they are not even gonna play. What do you fellas do each week, this is starting to call for a emergency meeting I reckon. You can’t just keep blurting crap week in week out after you guys piss fart around all week and come up with a bunch of bull dung at the last minute each week. Fair enough I didn’t listen for this week becuase I knew you guys would just embarrass yourselves once again. I know a bunch of Ditchies in the neighbourhood near me who dance around talking galahs and tap sticks all day could do better than you. Come on this is just enough please just take your vacation early and start building your resume up, your outta here.

    • Sounds like you reckon you can do better, if you hate their advice don’t listen, play your own game at least they provide a forum for us to engage in

    • Back your own captain in flog, dont bank on Calvin the muppet to give you good advice……

I backed in laird this week as a vice and did well, the fact that you chose two rucks over Titch, danger and half the gun mids who scored really well this week is beyond me.

      Blame yourself

    • Your the biggest dickhead on this forum, hands down. Wat a clown

    • Keep posting naughty words and your mummy will take away your computer privileges.

  • Anyone know of Macrae’s RDT BE?

  • Best mid under 560k?

  • Upgrade fritsch to beams, dangerfield in fwd line or lloyd?

  • What trade should I do:

    1) Wingard > Dangerfield ( $1k in the bank left )

    2) Goddard > Sicily ( $0 in the bank left )

    3) Big O > Abbott ( $244 in the bank left )

    First trade will be Redman > O’Riordan ( leaves $84k )

  • Thoughts on Redden for Gray or would someone cheaper like sloane/Shuey

    • Go cheaper there. Should be similar output to Redden

      • I’ve been a redden owner for the past 10 weeks. I’d be jumping off him and upgrading him to a Gaff/Macrae type once he is of this current hot streak – based on my history of owning him, I’d suggest he more likely to give you an 80/low 90 than 125+, and average around 85-95 here on. Not really keeper numbers

  • Danger or Heeney + $50k for last forward spot?

  • Whitfield or Lloyd ???

  • DEF: Laird, Lloyd, Yeo, Whitfield, Brayshaw, Crisp (O’Riordan, Rice)
MID: Mitchell, Macrae, J.Kelly, Coniglio, Merrett, Beams, Crouch, Dusty (Sier, J.Smith)
    RUC: Grundy, Gawn (English, Cameron)
FWD: D.Smith, Dangerfield, Mclean, Heeney, Wingard, Rockliff (Ahern, Wilson)

This includes current week trades of:

    T.Kelly > Beams
    Hogan > Macrae

    $29k Left.

Should I keep these trades or play BE’s, as Kelly & Hogan’s are still quite achievable?

    • Solid SOLID team Suckerpunch!!

Telly to Beams is a nice luxury upgrade, and getting in Macrae is a no brainer, but I’d wait until team sheets to see where Rocky is named.. With Gray out, he might be stationed forward more, him or Wingard..

      • Yep pretty much like every week, Monday trades are pending teams!

Also thinking of keeing Telly one more week to grab the cash if there’s a rookie ruck names (Abbot/Frampton). It’s probably overdue to cash in on English

  • Goddard-Morgan and Ahern to Macrae?

    • Already have O’Riordan? He looked really good yesterday.
Macrae is a solid in an could be a POD with most people focusing on bringing in Danger

      • Most people will be waiting a week on Macrae… likely to have Hutchings for company next week and his BE’s 161

Gotta use your dosh wisely at this time of the year

        • Exactly, Simon, Spot on. If you are considering Macrae, Gaff is a similar price, and has similar output anyway.

  • Ahern to O’Riordan via Mihocek
    Parker to Macrae

Next upgrades to be Goddard, Petracca and Doedee.

  • DEF: Laird, Yeo, Lloyd, Simpson, Whitfield, Sicily (Lynch, Smith)
MID: Mitchell, Kellly, Sidebottom, Coniglio, Cripps, Merrett, Crouch, Sier (Banfield, Narkle)
    RUCK: Martin, Gawn (McInerney, Cameron)
FWD: McLean, Heeney, Smith, Wingard, Rockliff, Ahern (Guelfi, Ronke)

    Cash: $137k

Currently have gone Banfield (via Smith) to O’Riordan and Guelfi to Danger putting Ahern to the mids and Narkle to Fwds bench.

  • Which forward to trade first?

    Buddy, Rocky or Billings?

  • Macrae or Gaff?

Don’t really care about the BE that Macrae is as this is my last midfield spot

    • if you have enough; get macrae, although he could be cheaper in a few weeks

    • Macrae is value for money right now (look at $ per point) but will be better value than that in a week. If you don’t care about price, you don’t need to ask because he’s the 2nd best fantasy player in the comp… no team will be complete without him

  • DEF: Lloyd, Brayshaw, Yeo, Whitfield, Hurley, Doedee, (Lynch, Ridley)
MID: Titch, Gaff, Zerrett, Danger, Neale, T Phillips, Parker, T Kelly, (Sier, J Smith)
    RUCK: Grundy, Gawn, (McInerney, Cameron)
FWD: Smith, Westhoff, McLean, Sicily, Wingard, Taranto (Apeness, Ahern)
    $115k remaining.

Depending on teams and new rookies coming in this week, I’m thinking of a small cash grab with my first trade and then upgrading Doedee or T Kelly to a premo midfielder.

These are the options I’m looking at:

    Option 1):
    Ridley –> O’Riordan
Doedee –> Heppell (unfortunately just short of a Crouch or Cogs type) or T Kelly –> Beams/Cogs

    Option 2):
    Apeness/McInerney –> Abbott (if named)
    Doedee –> Laird/Beams/Cogs or Kelly –> Beams/Cogs

Option 3 is a bit different, and involves me finally moving on Parker):
    Parker –> Shuey
    Doedee –> Heppell/Crouch or Kelly –> Beams/Cogs.

Which trades do people think is the best move?

  • should i get whitfield, danger or westhoff? (sicily can be swapped to fwd or def)

  • Current trades fritz- danger parker- slaone and putting ahren on feild via narkle

    Current team
Def, laird lloyd brayshaw sicdawg whitfeild savage
Mid titch kelly zerret conigs gibbs sloane curnow ahren
    Ruck stef gawn
Fwd westy danger menegoala mclean heeney degoey.

Should i stick with those trades leaves me 5k

  • Thinking of getting rid of Doedee, switching Sicily to defender, switching Danger to the fwds, and bringing in Macrae.

  • For my first trade, I’m set on:

    Fritsch -> Macrae (via Dangerfield)

What I’m not entirely sure about is my 2nd trade:

    Doedee -> Heppell (via Brayshaw)

For this trade though, I’m unsure if there is a better option for a DEF, MID or FWD (via Tom Mcdonald) for under $675k. Who would you go with?

  • Why does Sidebottom have a injured on him in the app?

    • Match report listed him with an eye injury. (Haven’t heard or seen anything more, including this morning’s injury wrap)

  • F: R. Laird, E. Yeo, J. Lloyd, J. Sicily, K. Simpson, T. Doedee, (C. Riordan, J. Smith)

    M: T. Mitchell, Z. Merrett, J. Kelly, M. Crouch, P. Cripps, I. Heeney, B. Gibbs, P. Dangerfield (D. Clarke, B. Sier)

    R: S. Martin, M. Gawn (O. McInerney, D. Cameron)

    F: T. McLean, D. Smith, T. Rockliff, J. DeGoey, B. Fritsch, P. Ahern. (T. Smith, J. Brander)

I got absolutely screwed at the byes and have been on the long road to recovery since. I was top 3k but I’ve now floated out to 8k so feel a bit blegh.

    85k in bank. Currently thinking:

Doedee to Morgan and putting Riordan at D8.
Fritsch to Beams, swinging Danger forward. That will leave around 200k for next week.

    • Fritta-> Beams, Danger forward and try turn Doedee into Brayshaw/Whitfield next week, or then go O-Mac-> Abbott, swing Heeney forward and turn Ahern into any midfielder at around 700k

  • Backs: Laird, Lloyd, Yeo, Simpson, Sicily, Hurley (Lynch, O’Riordan)

Mids: Mitchell, Gaff, Merrett, Oliver, Coniglio, Crouch, Gibbs, Neale (Sier, Clarke)

    Ruck: Gawn, Martin (Frampton, Cameron)

Fwds: McLean, Rockliff, Wingard, Heeney, Fritsch, Ahern (Narkle, Wilson)

    $53k

    Currently looking at:
    1. Fritsch+Neale-> Dangerfield+Sloane/Shuey
    2. Neale+Gibbs-> Sloane+Shuey+$237k
    3. Fritsch+Neale-> Crozier+Beams

I’ve been out of the country the last week or so, so I might be missing some things. Any help looking over it appreciated

  • Thoughts on a good midfielder to get for Gray, preferably under 680k??

  • fritsch to Dangers or Heeny?

    • I think it depends on how much the cash matters to you.

I have gone Smith (Demons)-> O’Rioardan so I can go Fritsch-> Danger with not much left over. Though I might hesitate later in the week and go Heeney instead, so I can be certain to reach Whitfield/Brayshaw from Doedee the following week…

  • John Freed

Looking through at some unique/cheaper options, that people might look at for a “mini” downgrade from an underperforming premo.

Todd Goldstein: 4% ownership, 117 last four, about 120k cheaper than Grundy
    David Armitage: 1.78% ownership, $535k, 108 last 3
    Jack Steele: 0.25% ownership, $616k, 109 last 3
    Hugh McCluggage: 1.94% ownership, $552k, Mid/Fwd, 100 last 4, 3k cheaper than Fritsch
    Rory Sloane: $595k, 111 last 2, averaged 107/106 last 2 years, 3.22% ownership
Hayden Crozier: Fwd/Def, $493k, 94 last 3, 0.75% ownership, missed last week, but should be good this week
    Luke Shuey: $557k, 109 last 3, 2.55% ownership
    Josh Dunkley: Mid/Fwd, $558k, 0.45% ownership, 106.7 last 3
    Kane Lambert: Mid/Fwd, $560k, 99.3 last 3, 2.45% ownership, averaged 85 last year
    Andrew McGrath: Def/Mid, $530k, 92 last 3, 4.96% ownership
    Tom Lynch: Fwd, $493k, 89 last 2, averaged 91/92/89 last 3 years, 1.06% ownership
    Jack Watts: Fwd, $439k 89 last 2, 1.17% ownership

Some options are obviously for the desperate, but these could just change a season for anyone brave enough. If anyone has any opinions on any, leave them below

  • Hey John Freed or anyone

    My dilemma for the week,

Fritch & Seedsman to Danger & Hurn or Heeney & Sicily?

    Cheers

  • John Freed

Personally, I’d feel safer with Heeney and Sicily. Heeney virtually never disappoints and Sicily hasn’t had a poor game since round 9/10. Comparatively, Danger’s average is inflated by that 151, which if he didn’t score this week he would arguably not be an option, going at 84 in the 3 games prior. Hurn is also prone to games in the 50’s/60’s and hasn’t even averaged 80 before this year. Whilst this is clearly his best year, it also shows that so far, he has been over achieving by a good 10+ points.

Basically, I trust Heeney and Sicily to hold their current averages as a pair far more than Danger and Hurn. But Danger is still Danger, and there’s not much stopping him going on an absolute tear.

  • which combination scores more this Weekend

    Heppell (vs. Freo) + Narkle
    Danger (vs. Dees) + Sier

I have to field either Narkle (f6) or Sier (m8).

    OUTS
    Walters

    Would really appreciate some help.
    Cheers

    • Sier has been listed injured at this stage so if he doesn’t play obviously go narkle and heppell. If sier does play back danger in to score well at home and sier hopefully to do well against the roos
