  • So many on the watchlist already. Cant wait for next year!

    Some real value to.
Rookies should be plenty to, especially from West Coast.

  • Hey Warnie, just wondering:
    When the prices come out
    Deck of dream team starts
When DT live is open to select the team? If you know it.
    Thanks

  • Any word yet on AFL Fantasy having a keepers league starting from next season yet Warnie in draft?

  • Iam not addicted at all.
Using the magic formula and 11mil salary cap and 3% discount per game under the 10 games played this team comes up at $10,986,000

    DEF:Yeo, Simpson, Laird, JJ, Mills, Doedee(150K), Francis(150K) (150K, 150K)
MID:Titch, Danger, Rocky, Cripps, Fyfe, Redden, JOM, Wigg (150K,150K)
    RUC:Gawn, Nic Nat (Cameron, McInerney)
FWD:Heeney, Lobb, Achee (WCE), Bennell, Venables, Murray (Rioli, Lovell)

FWD line is pretty weak, but value.
    Would be decent

    • You have a seven man defence… Don’t see the value of Mills

    • Also I’m pretty sure the salary cap is being increased to 12.6M with a new magic number of ~6900 according to something Warnie previously posted

    • Yea my bad, Francis would be on the bench.
I think Mills will be good this year, over the second year blues. Take McVeighs old role.

Yea cool, should still work out the same with the prices.
I was mainly just pointing out the value

      • There seems to be plenty of value all around the ground this year. No real stand out premiums in the forward-line and backline with the exception of Menegola. Worth taking a punt on a few of the mid priced options this year

  • Matthew Flynn GWS? Does he sneak R/F next year? Cheers

  • Nic Newman – how is he a mid only ? Can you post his 2017 heat map please Warnie ?

  • RDT 2018 Team Picker is Open! (For those who paid for assistant coach)

    Good Luck in 2018

  • Supercoach as well …. nothing from AFL Fantasy yet … not surprised though they wouldn’t want us to enjoy ourselves.

    • As a paying Fantasy Coach member I will be sadly disappointed if some sort of Team Picker is not open before Xmas for those who paid for the subscription model.

I Would not pay $19.95 again if I had to wait until it opens for everyone!

      Good Luck in 2018

      • FYI – There is no team picker for AFL Fantasy. There hasn’t been for 5 years and no part of the subscription says we get one!

        • First year I have bought subscription for Fantasy so wasn’t sure if it opened early for those who paid real $$$$$, Seems I spent $19.95 on “Player Projections and a Bye round indicator”

          Won’t fall for that again.

          Good Luck in 2018

          • I used the Fantasy Coach subscription for much more than that, but if that’s all you used it for, then maybe you’re better to save your dollars.

          • I was ranked 99th in AFL Fantasy going into the last Sunday of round 23, Not sure what extra features you used on it BUT judging by your efforts last year maybe you should pay me $19.95 to help you :)

            Good Luck in 2018

          • Pretty sure I was in one of your leagues, and from the looks of it your team was trash and didn’t get all that close to 99th…

          • Actually I stand corrected. You must’ve come home pretty strong cos you seemed to be struggling early on in the season

          • 99th going into the last sunday? So you didnt get 99th did you? But you name dropped 99th going off live ranking..

Good luck getting a hat in 2018 ;)

          • Cheers for the feedback..

            Good Luck in 2018

          • My team was trash you say James? Yet I outscored you by 64 points in round 23 well played sir! Maybe you should sign up to my Fantasy preseason camp it’s only $19.95!

            Good Luck in 2018

  • 2 Questions:

    1. With Gibbs gone will we see Cripps improve more than 10ppg?
    2. Will Hodge help or Hinder Witherden awesome Fantasy Game?

    Good Luck

    • Shut up about Witherden, yeah? As a Lions supporter I think he could be fantastic in 2018, with a full Pre-Season and Luke Hodge as a mentor. It would take cahones the size of space hoppers to start with him, but he could be a great POD.

  • don’t think either are worth the risk imo

  • It’ll be interesting to see how Shuey Gaff and Yeo go this year. Last year when Priddis or Mitchell weren’t in the team they were all down on usual output… especially Yeo and Gaff

    • Yeo was down on his usual output when Simpson moved him from the HB rebounder to a forward player (I think it coincided with JJK’s injury – or around the time of the byes)

crippled his DT scoring, and cost him a certain AA spot on that HB flank

I wouldn’t say it was Priddis and Mitchell being absent, more the likes of JJK (who typically never misses games) plus Simpson being an idiot

  • Luke Mcdonald and Ryan Clarke defenders, licking my lips

  • Any idea when the drawing board returns? Need to fulfil my urges and get some players onto paper
