Remaining weekend teamsheets announced from ~6:25pm tonight. Some early news, it appears Jack Steele (Mid/Fwd $504,000) will be rested this week, but we should see a return of Nick Riewoldt (Fwd $531,000).
From Richmond Jack Graham (Mid $150,000) has been reinstated from injury and Tyson Stengle (Fwd $150,000) upgraded from rookie list which means they are a chance for selection.
Lots of chatter that Declan Mountford (Mid $159,000) will be given another run for North, whom we haven’t seen since round 1.

Thursday Updates

6:25pm Wednesday 14/06/2017

Eagles vs Cats teamsheet is in. Thomas Cole (Def $216,000) gives us another, albeit pricey, downgrade option in defence.
Formerly Fantasy relevant but not this year especially since losing ruck status Mark Blicavs (Mid $372,000) has been managed.

6:00pm Wednesday 14/06/2017

Round 13, the final Bye round and yet another partial lockout. Teams for Thursdays Eagles vs Cats will be announced from ~6:25pm tonight. Its a bye round where most Fantasy coaches will already be short of players with many popular players having the bye this week
Some early news already, Ed Vickers-Willis (Def $257,000) won’t do said coaches much favours, sidelined for 6-8 weeks with injury.
A player that is on many coaches ruck 4 bench is Sydney Ruckman Darcy Cameron (Ruck/Fwd $156,000) and there he may stay, out for the remainder of the season. Those who have Josh J. Kennedy (Fwd $465,000) as a POD, he’s ruled out returning this week. Fraser McInnes (Def/Fwd $270,000) has been taken up off the rookie list so comes into contention for selection tonight.

Shags’ Watchlist

yeo
Had someone told you at the start of the season that EYeo would be the highest scoring forward premium for the year you’d have been laughed out of the room. Elliot Yeo (Mid/Fwd $594,000) is not only top, he’s top by a long way and putting out numbers similar to midfield top 10. Currently averaging 107.8 for the year, now he’s had the bye, if you haven’t already got him this week is a good week to get him in.

mene
Another double watchlist as with his newly crowned forward status, and not many decent forward premium options. Second year player Sam Menegola (Mid/Fwd $539,000) comes into contention. The kid sure knows how to rack up the stats with a high of 133 this year, and averaging 95 from his games last year. He hasn’t been selected in the team every week this year which puts some question marks on Job security for a player that is priced as a premium.

Shags’ Watchlist

mount
With Ed Vickers-Willis out, Declan Mountford (Mid $159,000) is given another run. We havent seen him since round 1 where he scored a unimpressive 44. Job security is clearly an issue, but he was a player that showed potential in the preseason and he remains cheap. There aren’t many downgrade options so many will grab him, some for the second time.

Shags’ Watchlist

dusty
Dustin Martin (Mid $639,000) has well and truly cemented himself as a top 8 midfielder but is somewhat of a POD compared to the other Uber premiums scoring the same. With his bye out of the way, and scoring as a $700k+ player, its as good a time to grab him as any.

Shags’ Watchlist

zorko
Dayne Zorko (Mid $653,000) is another who is looking to cement themselves as a top 8 mid. With only 5.37% ownership he is a genuine POD, and averaging 119 this year, could be a strong unique for you to grab.

mw
We simply don’t have many downgrade options so McKenzie Willis (Def/Mid $187,000) comes into vogue. 52 last week was good enough for a def rookie. I dont think his long term Job security is strong as he came in for Habrow, and you’d think he’d leave with his return.

Shags’ Watchlist

libba
Decided to chuck Tom Liberatore (Mid $419,000) on my watchlist this year. He is seriously out of sorts averaging a low 76.8 and even been dropped for a few weeks. Libba is still a young player and you’d think still part of the Doggies long term goals, so you would hope he’d make a return to form, and he is capable of premium scoring output. He is so cheap that I am definitely watching him this week, and his BE is 123. Could be a sneaky midpricer if form returns in following weeks..

A windy cold day in 2015, I was bored, sick with the flu, and decided to start a blog about Teamsheets. I was immediately recruited by Warnie and somehow am now a DTTALK author. NOTE; Im Back in 2022! woooo Twitter @shagbags2023 ~REMEMBER: Friends don't let friends DT TEAMS become ghost ships.
