  • zach merrett top 8 mid? thats a stretch

    • This situation has happened loads of times. Other stars returning from injury, or players moving clubs, and they are always predicted to have reduced scoring due to points being ‘taken’ by teammates. Doesn’t usually pan out like that though, jets like Merrett and Neale always end up getting theirs.

  • Nice start!

Enjoyed the player insights – more of them please.

  • thoughts on dunkley

  • So Warnie – what’s the chances of the top forward at the end of the year looking like this?
Voldt, Macrae, Pendelbury, GAblett, Fyfe and Dahlhaus.
The 3 guns will play more forward this year.

    • Interesting. Personally, I think Ablett is the only one of those guys who could get it – but I think he will still be the main man in the midfield.

  • Still think Jack Steven is underrated. Potential to be a top 5 mid.

    • Definitely potential to be a top 8, I think it depends on St Kilda as a whole ave. 118 in st kilda wins last season and ave. 88 in losses

      • Sounds a positive stat if like me you expect saints to be on the improve this year…Steven is in my team at present…But only just!!

  • Anyone else notice numbers seems to be down this year, The AFL would need 2500 people a day to sign up for the next 50 days to reach last years numbers…

What is being done by the AFL to get more people involved.?

    Good Luck

  • Do you think there will be any rookie/cheap emerging rucks who will average around the mid 70’s. And is it worth putting Jamie Elliott instead of a similarly priced Bennel if not keeping both?
