Good luck!

No late changes in Crows vs Cats tonight.
Good luck!

5:10pm Friday 13/05/2016

Sunday extended benches are in! The big news was already in with Bachar Houli being withdrawn due to a wrist injury and Josh Kennedy (JPK) being withdrawn from Sydney with a Hamstring injury, adding to our carnage. JPK out gives us another Sydney rookie in Jack Hiscox (Fwd/Mid. $125,000 AF $128,200 DT).
Another new rookie to make the cut is Dogs Bailey Williams (Def/Mid. $136,000 AF $121,300 DT.)
Nick Graham (Mid/Fwd.) and Dougal Howard (Fwd.) Didn’t make the cut. And to add insult to injury for those who kept him Sam Gray (Mid/Fwd.) is an emergency only!

6:40pm Thursday 12/05/2016

As predicted Michael Barlow is out. Cyril Rioli is also out (more for those Elite players). Sam Mitchel, Taylor Adams, Sam Gray are big DT relevant players back in, and saving massive carnage for some. Toby Greene continues to troll people being out for soreness, and Daniel Wells confirmed out with injury.
Lincoln McCarthy, Kieran Lovell, Daniel Currie, Jason Castagna, Dean Kent, Marcus Adams, all rookie players that are out.
It appears new rookies have dried up a bit as well with not as many cheap options going around this week (Depending on Sunday extended benches).

5:30pm Thursday 12/05/2016

AFL Teams for round 8 are about to be named. Rumours already buzzing with Michael Barlow reported to not be on the flight to Tassie. Reports are also that his is DROPPED not rested, big issues. Taylor Adams is still touch and go, but rookie ruck Dan Currie is out as well as Daniel Wells. POD Shaun Higgins is confirmed out injured for 3 months. Jonathan Simpkin is the first veteran bombers topup player to get injured, and it could be it for him for the rest of his contract. Also reported Marcus Adams is out with a finger injury, and Matt Rosa out with hamstring injury.
Tim Mohr (Def. $125,000 AF $168,100 DT) will play his first game since 2014, could be a solid def rookie priced option, although usually plays key defence. Put on watch list. Also Travis is IN for collingwood…. Varcoe, not Cloke…
Oh yeah Tom Rockliff is out, but we all know that right?

wines
Colloquially refered to as Quadzilla, Ollie Wines (Mid. $524,000 be 89 AF $ 547,400 be 105 DT) has been travelling quite nicely averaging 102, but against blues this week he could go huge. Only being owned by 5.7% he could be a handy POD. He is one of those players I feel could shift up a gear and become an uber premium, the only question is when. Coming off a 118 this isnt a bad week to grab him.

pet
One more for the RDT players, Christian Petracca (Fwd/Mid. $262,000 be 16 AF $128,200 be -72 DT) on the bubble at his price in DT looks a must have after a solid 86 and he appears to be living up to the hype. Grab him and chuck him on your field.

nroo
I made a call (as a few others did as well) earlier in the year that the limited rotations would favour Nick Riewoldt (Fwd. $574,000 BE 58 AF, $ 623,300 BE 79 DT) with his gut running capability. Only reason I didnt grab was I didnt think his body would hold up. I was an idiot for not doing so, and his 144 last week was spectacular. This is also coming off 126, 137, 123. He yet again remains DT royalty. Salute. Only catch is he is probably already out priced for many.

Jimmy Bartel (Def/Mid. $457,000 be 55 AF $ 488,500 be 42 DT) as a fallen premium, has had 121 and 111 in consecutive weeks. Is he back to his inform best? With a low BE this is a good week to grab him.

mul
Aaron Mullett (Def. $177,000 AF $207,200 DT) isnt a rookie, but he is rookie priced. He was a late inclusion last week and scored a handy 68. North play bombers this week, and with the likes of Higgins out for awhile, his JS could be shored up a bit.

lewis
Who could have imagined that Jordan Lewis (Mid. $484,000 be 103 AF $ 483,800 be 96 DT) could be so cheap, dropping a whopping $-129,000 in AF and $-158,100 in DT. He is cheap for a reason with scores like 60, 59, 58. But he has also scored 134, 110, 111 and 117. If you are backing him in to NOT spud as much, this is the week to grab him.

Darcy
Darcy MacPherson (Mid. $146,000 AF be -8, $105,800 DT) looks like the best (and almost only) downgrade option in AF this week with a solid 73. Hopefully he keeps his spot for a few more weeks.

beams
Dayne Beams (Mid. $565,000 be 108 AF $ 597,100 DT) did enough in my opinion in his first outing back for lions with a 106, coming back from injury and with Rocky out for a bit, surely he can only improve this week. Conservative types might want to wait one more week as his BE is on the high side.

Shags’ Watchlist

mcv
Jarrad McVeigh (Def. $460,000 be 87 AF $ 495,500 be 87 DT) is another one in the fallen premium category. Has he gotten over his injury concerns and will bust out more tonnes? or is that the outlier and the scores earlier of 77, 57, 78 a better indication? He is cheap, and the advantage of being a defender where there arent as many consistent choices anyway (especially RDT). Could be worth a punt at his current price.

A windy cold day in 2015, I was bored, sick with the flu, and decided to start a blog about Teamsheets. I was immediately recruited by Warnie and somehow am now a DTTALK author. NOTE; Im Back in 2022! woooo Twitter @shagbags2023 ~REMEMBER: Friends don't let friends DT TEAMS become ghost ships.
