Other Thoughts

Wallis back worries me about Pickens role and output for the Dogs.

Frawley inclusion should do nothing else but improve the stocks of Birchall and Gibson owners

Deledio could be a late out. as there is some doubt.

Steele Sidebottom didn’t make the cut, but all reports he is close to returning. Same goes for Ollie Wines.

Last but not least, Kane Cornes is undoubtedly DT Royalty. This year the Champ announced his retirement. He announced he
will pull the Pin after playing Richmond round 8 for his 300th. DT wise he has been a proven performer who hasn’t
averaged below 90 since 2005! Well done mate.

  • If Sam Colquhoun makes the cut is it pretty unlikely he will be sub?

  • Which downgrade trade?

    McIntosh > Schade (+$177k)
    Saad > Schade (+$161k)
    Glenn > Schade (+$27k)

    • I’d say McIntosh if you’ve got cover, otherwise Saad. Saad’s hopefully only out for one or two, and Glenn should be back next week, and the 20k profit is negligible/Schade may not make it much past 177k anyway.

  • priorities to trade?

    Simmo, Saad, Glenn, CEY, Lewis?

    • Simmo with old man calves does concern me. I know allll about them, pulled one myself today :(.

Glenn wouldnt have earnt enough to really justify trading. (Im actually not sure how bad his ankle injury is). Lewis has only 1 more week left. CEY could well still have a couple of weeks, and at least if you trade him he has made some cash for you.

  • CEY>>>McKenzie a good trade option?!?

  • Glenn, newton, Sloane, lewis, saad. Far out I think this spells donut

    • Same problem with me Will. I’ve gone Glenn, Saad and Lewis on the pine…. Sloane > Barlow and Newton > Stretch.

  • Shags, not sure if you have read the outs properly……..but Glenn’s out is listed as ‘ankle’.

  • thoughts on jack leslie named at hb?

  • A new category –

    Hoped For Not Ommissions

Swans – Mitchell named on ball again.

  • @shags , also wondering your thoughts on ah chee, stretch and schade, order them from 1-3 on who to pick

    • Ollie wines is very close to return back in again so Ah Chee JS isnt as secure. Amon and Colquhoun also fighting for a place. They are playing the kid though.

  • How do I move 3 players positions simultaneously in Fantasy?
    I have the following scenario:

C.Salem (Def-Fwd) – currently in my defs, want to move to Fwds
A.Saad (Def-Mid) – currently in my mids, want to move to Defs
N.Krakaour (Mid-Fwd) – currently in my fwds, want to move to Mids

    • What Luke said, you can do it by taking players out and plugging those gaps.

  • @modene you can’t unless you make a trade

  • I’ve ditched James Kelly and Buddy for Rocky and Tom Mitchell

I’m mental I know, but I’m going for consistent scorers in my team, more points wins, done me well this year so far

    • Dude, Mitchell I like but please wait a week on Rocky, you’re just throwing money away getting him this week.

      • +1 this… Rocky has broken ribs and a punctured lung, I’ve been watching his games and I reckon he’s a week or 2 away from trading in. Expect a score of 100-110 this week and then look to get him in under $500k. Bargain.

  • thoughts on billy stretch and ah chee?

    • I think Stretch seems to have better JS. Ollie wines is coming back for port soon. Ah Chee was the sub as well, could easily be a sub again.

  • Sir Bobby and Taezer… Fair points, think i got excited. I could actually do a straight swap with Whitfield next week for Rocky

I could get Barlow or Boak this week though, Boak more consistent this year and getting better. Any thoughts?

  • #taylorhuntlives

  • Well done Shags. Love your work so far.

    • Thanks mate. Had a few teething problems this week (good ol Warnie cleaned it up a bit for me) should be good for the experience :P

  • I’m gonna need to trade out Anderson or Glenn to avoid a donut this week.

I’m leaning towards Anderson as he’s at least made some money and doesn’t seem to have good job security (2nd time he’s been dropped).

Anyone know anything about Glenn’s ankle injury? Did it affect his score last week? Will he come back?

    Please help :/

  • Well, another week and more forced trades. It seems to be a common theme.

    I’ve gone
    Glenn > Stretch
    Clay Smith > Duncan

Thoughts on Amon instead of Stretch, and thoughts on those trades would be appreciated.

I’m holding a lot of injured players (and one suspended) in hope that when they come back my team will be beast. I’ve got no defence bench cover, no mid bench cover, and of course no ruck bench cover. I just hope everything will be back to normal next week. Well, whatever normal is in fantasy.
