  • Hey guys and girls

Not too sure what to do this week

Option 1 – D. Smith (facepalm) to Bont & Z. Smith to Goldy (cant afford Sauce by 5k) leaves 25k

    Option 2 – Bewick (double facepalm) to C. Byrne & Z. Smith to Sauce/Goldy, leaves 205k

  • Hogan, Salem, McCarthy, clarke

Which 2 to field this week

  • Newton, CEY, Cripps, vandenberg

Which 3 to field this week

  • Lumumba or Saad on the field? Harry is gone next week unless he pumps out 85+

    • I wanna say Saad but surely have to back in The Prince since Melb should get a bit of the ball across half back

  • trading out lumumba and berger to which combo?

    1. whitecross & jacobs &6k cash.
    2. Hunt & Nicnat &6K cash.
    3. Laird & Nicnat &6K cash.
    4 J.Bruce & Nicnat &30K cash.

I could also trade out gibson instead of lumumba but i’d prefer to get rid of lumumba i think..

    • Like option 1 because of Sauce so check to see if Whitecross is named tomorrow but he could be eased back in with a vest or two

If not named then option 2

  • D; Hibbo Newnes Shaw Hunt McIntosh Oxley; Saad Goodes
M; Lewis Heppell Beams Parker Wines Wallis Newton Cripps; CEY Vandenburg
    R; Bellchambers Leuy
F; Bartel Gray Dusty Adams Bont Salem; Clark McCarthy

    16k bank

    A)Leuy/Beams -> Jacobs/vanBerlo
    B)Leuy/Beams -> Goldstein/Rich
    C)Leuy/Goodes -> Grundy/Byrne
    D)Other

  • 1 Ablett to Boyd and berger to nic nat
2 ablett to barlow and berger to grundy
3 ablett to barlow and kk to hunt and cop a donut in the rucks?

    Thoughts?

  • And can throw Boyd back into DEF after round 6

  • Pick one. I’ve already done Berger to sauce
    Beams to Bont
    Kolo to hunt
Kolo to Simpson (only 7k for next week)
    Thoughts? Cheers

  • Was gonna stick with the Lberger and Kolo this week but now looks like I’ll trade in the big sauce Jacobs (other ruck is Goldy so going to hope its set and forget) and trade down Kolo to Byrne. Would have gone Kolo to Hunt and Redpath to Honeychurch so I don’t miss his big price jump but looks like I’m going to have to now ….. dilemma!!

  • Who out of Lewis,Pendles,JPK,Treloar and Parker should i downgrade to get Jacobs in the ruck?

  • Have a ‘luxury’ trade to burn… Is now the time to go lumumba –> smith/hibberd?

  • Just wondering –
    Does anyone have a R3 playing ?

  • Unfortunately Luey threw a spanner in the works.

Was going to go Beams -> Barlow and KK -> Hunt / Laird.

Now I am thinking I do the same trades and take Luey’s 0 to upgrade next week OR I go Beams -> Bont and Luey -> Mumford (all I can afford).

    Thoughts?

  • No, but I have one with down syndrome

  • Who should I field in
MIDS – V’Berg, CEY, or Saad (currently fielding CEY)

FWD – Honeychurch or Clark (currently fielding Honeychurch)

Also is Leun(tird)burger to Bellchambers a good enough trade because that’s all I can afford. I’ve been forced to hold Lumumba so I’m hoping he can go big this week.

    Thoughts and help appreciated

    • CEY
Clark has the potential to go bigger but Honeychurch lower risk I reckon.

Luey to Bellchambers is horribly sideways, but hey, beggars can’t be choosers

  • Gotta get out leue (damn him) i can only afford grundy or blicavs. or let phillips play as sub, and rookie down for $ and trade leue out for sauce?

    • rookie for $ and leue for sauce would be next week, letting phillips sub this week…

      • i feel like just taking the phillips hit cause i dont want blicavs or grundy in my team. but then again.. UGH help me

        • I’d eat a donut rather than make a trade that’s going to piss you off whenever you look at the player.

          • good advice haha
when then it’s back to my old dilemma. trade out lumumba or kkolo?

    • Why not get Belly and save $$ and make another 50-80k and then upgrade in 5weeks?

  • @ Harry I’m.in the same boat and can only afford grundy who I can’t stand, im getting rid of Gazza and was thinking maybe going to Boyd instead of barlow, Boyd will be no1 scoring defender after round 6 so it’s not really a wasted trade amd tje I can get nic nat for berger

  • Help me! What trades do I do here?

    Beams > Ebert
    Lubumba > bontempelli

Moving Saad back into defence and trading Lubumba out. Doing this though means I miss out on a score from leuenburger..

    Beams > bontempelli
    Leuenburger > Grundy

Meaning I play Lumumba but I do get my ruckman score.

The way I see it is will Lumumba and Grundy score as good or much more than what Ebert does? I might score a donut but if Ebert pumps out a 140+ again what’s the chances of both the other 2 scoring 60 odd each?

I can always get Grundy and keep him as a r2, and patch Ebert in next week also, but just curious on thoughts.
What do I do? Please help me!

  • You want to be avoiding any donuts if possible. Dont worry about having to wait 1 more week to jump on a player. Trading Berger should be your biggest priority

  • Do I bring in goldy or Jacobs? I like both but I like goldy ceiling and his fearce tackling lately and feel crows may just slow down a little soon and Jacobs scoring might because of that.

But goldy is coming up against port and without lobbe should SMASH them with only really an out of form Ryder there..

    Thoughts?

    • I prefer Sauce myself. Goldy seems to smash out a couple of these scores every year then just when you need him most around finals time he’ll go missing and score you a sub 50.

  • What 2 to field?

    Honeychurch, salem, Clark.

Was thinking Clark and Honeychurch but unsure.

  • Who should I captain out of this team?

    DEF: Newnes,Lumumba,Hunt,Oxley,Saad, Mcintosh (Goodes,Hamling)
    MID: Lewis,Barlow,Heppell,Parker,Beams,CEY,Newton,Cripps (Smith,Vandeberg)
    RK: Bellchambers,Maric (Griffin,Cox)
    FWD: Gray,Tex,Swan,Martin,Bartel,Clark (Salem,Mccarthy)

    • Lewis, Heppell, Barlow, Parker in that order I think and Tex if you want a smokey captain choice.

  • Because of needing to trade Berger I need to field Lubumba.. But I have a choice here.

Who do I field Vanderberg – cripps_ Lubumba?

I need to pick one, cripps could come out and score a healthy 90 on return, all 3 are up and down like yoyos..

Would you field the experienced Lubumba and hope he had a good day or go cripps / Lubumba?
