  • Accurate break-evens anyone?

  • Vent- Beams, goodes, newnes

  • Break evens people I need break evens!

  • Ok, it seems Gablett has dropped so much now that I may as well suck it up and keep him. Any chance he becomes a DPP forward in r6?

    • Yeah I’m thinking the same to be honest, thinking lose Beams before Gablett and either trade Goodes or bench him.

    • Really doubt it, in my opinion if you don’t trade him you only lose potential value, not actual value. So might as well hold and I’m sure there are other things you can work on.

  • Anyone thinking of printing in pittard as a POD Defender?

    Duds: B.Goodes, B.Newton, A.Vandenberg, M.Clark, D.Beams and possibly KK
On the Chopping Block: KK and Beams
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Already think I’ve made my trades, KK > Bruce don’t care if he can’t back it up his BE is 2 and my other trade Beams > most likely Sloane, Thoughts?

    • Love the Sloane train, Adelaide are immense this year.

Dockers have Eagles next week and their mids are going to go HAM once again.

Bruce with 2 big score looks the goods but I won’t be jumping on just yet.

Studs: Lewis, Bont, Hodge, Mumford, Newnes, Wallis
Duds: Clark, Vandenberg, Ellis (C), Tyson
On the Chopping Block: Lumumba, Tyson
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Solid score given my appalling captain choice and given that I nearly went with Barlow and KK over Tyson and Hodge. Happy to get rid of two Dees Lumumba and Tyson to bring in Barlow.

  • I’ve traded Beams and KK for the Bont and Smith, lets hope it pays off and Smith is alright to go next week.

Duds: GAJ, Eski, B. Goodes, Beamer, Newton, Vandenberg, M. Clark
On the Chopping Block: GAJ, Eski, Beamer
Vent/Brag/Whatever: I never thought I would have to trade GAJ for under performing! I forgive the rookies for sub vests and low scores, its part of the risk for fielding them! I think I will keep Beams for this week as he has a better run coming up then GAJ and Eski and I will bring in the Bont and maybe Hibberd leaving me with $167k to upgrade one of my rucks.

    • Don’t get Hibberd.

      He never tons.

Docherty, Smith, Simpson, Hodge all better options

      • Going Hibberd for consistancy and the run of Blues, Pies, Saints coming up. Smith I am thinking will miss next week with concussion but if named I will probably pick him. Docherty I haven’t really looked at yet but will have to. Simpson is on my never again list, way too inconsistent and 2 rounds isn’t long enough to convince me he has changed. Hodge is awesome but always either injures himself or gets rested a few times a year.

  • I have no idea who to trade HELP!!!!

Mackie, Newnes, Lumumba, Geary, Saad, McIntosh (Oxley, Goodes)

Lewis, Barlow, Hepple, Parker, Prestia, Newton, Vandenberg, Anderson (CEY, Cripps)

    Maric, Bellchambers (Naismith, Holmes)

Bartel, Martin, Swan, Grey, Salem, Honeychurch (Clarke, McCarthy)

I’m inside top 1000 so doing pretty well.

    Any suggestions would be great.

    • Anyone?

      • I would go Lumumba to T Hunt – (Richmond) and if he is declared fit and Mackie to B Smith (AdelaideS) (if named for next week) S Docherty (Carl) or I would have said Gibson if Frawley wasn’t out for a bit, Gibbo will probably go back to playing accountable footy. Then next week I would be trying to get bontempelli in if you can if all goes well, good luck!

    • get rid of mackie for docherty, hodge, or brodie smith (depends of how much money you have). and perhaps consider getting rid of lumumba? i dont have him so i dont know what hes scroing but i cant see him doing too well as a player consistantly throughout the year, atleast not scoring as much as he would need to to be a D3

  • What do you guys think… Bont has a fairly hard run with Hawks, Adelaide and Swans in the next 3. Looking to get him in but hesitant. Thoughts?

    • He won’t keep up his scoring. Still think he’s a massive risk

      • 10 tackles a game gives me good vibes.

Bont and Fyfe are on another level in terms of utilities this season.

      • with a break even of 23, you can afford to take a risk

  • Is Beams worth trading considering that Richmond don’t have a tagger?

  • Can’t believe i’m ranked 27,000ish in Fantasy (finished 186 last year) but am ranked 58 in RDT! Some bad mistakes for Rd 1 team in Fantasy (such as starting with GAJ & putting the c on him) which I didn’t do in RDT.

    • 58 bah Gods

      List your team plz

    • I was 650 last week but 3,555 this week

      :@@@@@

      • OK Albert, this was my Rd 2 RDT team – scored 2092:

Def: Malceski, Newnes, Lumumba, KK, C Pearce, McIntosh (Saad, Oxley)

Mid: Lewis(c) – both rounds, Heppell (brought in this week for Sidey), Jelwood, Parker, Wines, NVB, Newton, Cripps (Heeney, CEY, V’Berg)

        Ruck: Sauce, Belly (Downie)

Fwd: Dusty, Gray, Swan, Bonts, Salem, Clark (Hogan, Lamb)

Would have been even better if I played CEY & Hogan on the field.

  • Who to trade out of kk and lumumba

    • Melbourne in Adelaide this week terrifies me.

Gold Coast in Geelong slightly less risk.

Based on that I would have to say Harry O.

Studs:hodge, newnesy, lewis, goldstein, bont, dusty

Duds:malceski (again), beams (again), kolo (again), newton, mitch clark

On the Chopping Block: made my initial trades which i may end up trading: somehow i let zac clarke sneak into my round 1 team and as expected hes being doin shit, so hes out for brodie grundy (wish me luck) with an average of 85.5 and a BE of 33 so perhaps a bit of upside. and beams out for barlow; barlow is a consistant jet, and beams seems to be struggling without the likes of pendles and swanny shouldering his load.

Vent/Brag/Whatever: brodie smith is dominating and ill probs bring him in next week, but i was strictly told to avoid him by this website based on his preseason form. so instead i got malceski as D2, which has fu**ed me up. Also, i perhaps hit the panic button and traded out ablett last week…and brought in whitfield (out scored 70…)

just let me know ur thoughts perhaps on my situation, i have $60,000 in the kitty and had $176,000 before these initial trades.

    • Grundy is doing well, I was considering him since he’s the only ruckman at the Pies and he was one of the first ruckmen I put in my time pre season.

Thinking Ibbotson downgrade, Oxley on field to free up coin then Beams or Griffin to Barlow or Heppell. Thoughts?

  • Is it worth having Bont at M5 and then next week swap him into the Forward Line?

    • I’m doing a very similar thing.

Provides a great link into the fwds.

  • Decided to downgrade Ibbo to Oxley leaving me with 211k. Who should I upgrade KK or Lumumba to? Already have hibberd and newness. I was thinking maybe Hodge. Thoughts ?

    • I have doubts over a 31 yo Hodge being durable.

I would go Smith (if he comes good), Docherty or Simmo.
