  • At least Geelong didn’t name Jelwood

  • Screwed :(

  • alright… my one trade is robbo>simpson

which 2 should I field between buddy, martin and zorko?

  • TOM COUCH MUST PLAY OR ELSE I COP A DONUT. Do u think he will play?

  • jelwood -> murphy
    robbo->fyfe
my backup is gibson and zorko. worth the trades or save trades for grand final??

  • Save one trade and play Gibson the man on fire !!!!! B

  • Bye Bye Jelwood. Welcome Murphy.

    • Why not Gibbs?

      • Don’t trust Gibbs. Boomer Harvey?

      • Carlton played crap when murphy injured, murphy back and they are playing better. Hes still there number 1 ball magnet, and his score last week indicates to me hes back to full form. Gibbs is a good choice but behind murphy imo. Harvey is a down hill skiier, so if north have a bad day so will he, too risky for my liking.

    • One of the 2 trades I’m choosing between. The other is Jelood->Boomer.Harvey. Upkeep thinking that Carlton couldn’t play that well twice in a row and I’m inclinedtochoose Harvey instead ’cause hie’s been intop for for longer.

  • Fisher, Jelwood and Robbo out hurts. 1 trade left, was going to either go Fisher >> Scotland, Selwood >> Watson or Robbo >> Stevie J. Decided to move Fisher on, as I have Gibson to cover Selwood and Clancee Pearce to cover Robbo. Only would have Sam Shaw or Spurr to cover Fisher otherwise. Good idea??

  • gibson or priddis on the field?

i am leaning toward gibson. is this the right call?

  • Who to captain…..

Murphy vs GCS (no taggers in GCS)
Stevie J vs WBD (taggers wont go to SJ)

    Thoughts???

  • atleast robinson’s out

  • Suckling its your 50th game. Cmon, play a screamer.

  • two trades – 180k

middies – ablett, boyd, pendles, hayes, jelwood, jobe
    rucks – goldstein, cox

swan in for selwood is pretty much a given, question is should i hold the second trade for the granny or avoid goldstein getting beat up by sandi? and try and lock up this week

  • i dont know who to put in matt rosa or clay smith PLEASE HELP ME

  • Jelwood out… Rockliff, it’s your time to shine. Show Gibbo that you deserve your spot in the team!

    • Who to bench out of Gibson, Priddis and Stanton leaning towards Priddis.

      • Bench Stanton. Collingwood are weak with tags and Priddis is likely to run amok with either disposals or tackles

  • Who to play out of Gibson and Ebert? And who to play out of Martin, Treloar and Porplyzia?

    • Wow hard I’d go Gibson he’s looking at home and Eberts been consistently getting like 80s and90s.

And I would definitely bench Porps and I’d have to say Martin Treloar coming off a rest

  • hey guys i need some help this week, making 2 trades but not sure who to trade and for who but looking to trade in the midfield and forward line.

my opponent mid – ablett, swan, scott selwood, hayes, barlow, brad ebert

me – ablett, swan, scott thompson, sam mitchell, joel selwood, pendles

i could use gibson as cover for selwood, but im concerned over mitchells ankle too, also thinking of being sneaky and putting hayes in my mid :D

opp forward – beams, sidebottom, dangerfield buddy , harley benell, whitecross, jordan lewis

me – beams, sidebottom, stevie j, buddy, zorko, dustin martin, cloke/devon smith

thinking of trading out smith and leaving cloke as sub

  • Treloar or Martin?

  • Last trade-advice required….
    Back line is fine
Mids-jelwood, swan, GAZ, Pendles, boyd, mmurphy, gibbo, shiel
Fwds-dusty, beams, sidebum, chappy, steviej, Zorko, fyfe, delolololio, couch
Guys, I don’t ask for help often, but reach out and help a brother!
    1 trade left, 17k.
Hold or trade? Predicted to win but I know opponent has 2 trades left….
Playing gibbo means I’ll take couchs score(if he plays) in either forward or mid if there is another late out
    And…….GO

    • You could trade Jelwood. Many players you could straight trade him for, also via couch can get a good fwd as well.

  • Would you bench Rockliff against Port Adelaide, Priddis against the Pies or Gibson against Freo?

    • Pies dont tag, bear that in mind. If Rocky was going to play in again surely this would be the game, but you cant discount gibson, hes been great (i missed that wagon dammit). I would go priddis and gibson simply for the peace of mind. I am glad I dont have Rocky.

      • The pies don’t tag but the Eagles will. So, Scott Selwood or Gibson on the ground?

  • Versing dr dt in prelim.
Based on form, he should beat me by 100.
Then jelwood and robo out, and well I might as well use my last 2 trades as a last ditch effort to make the big GF.

    Jelwood to cotchin
Robo to bennerl/Whitecross/rough head/Stanton/ any fwd or mid under $446k

    Jelwood to Boyd/ Gibbs
    Robo to Pavlich/ Brent harvy

Obviously need a win, so appreciation would be great

    • who are your other mids/fwds

      • Mids: pendles, gazza, Mitchell, Thommo, (jelwood), Gibson or zorko have been M6 for the whole year
Fwds: Bemas, sidey, danger, chappy, Stevie, robo, zorko or trealor or Martin for F7.

I know there is 2 rooks in these 2 lines (my only 2 rooks at play week in, week out.) but they perform well and actually cost more than the likes of robbo, Martin, chappy, Stevie j, thommo.

  • i still have franklin, but him out would help alot.
    opponents don’t have great cover.

  • Who should i trade in out of…

    Pendlebury (WC and Ess)
    Cotchin (Ess and PA) or
    Murphy (GCS and StK)?

  • Start S. Shaw or Suckling?

Would be a no-brainer normally – but Suckling’s been dreadful.

  • I’ve got two trades left, jelwood and sloane (on bench) are out.
I only need to downgrade sloane by 21k to upgrade jelwood to swan.

So the two options I’m looking at are:

de Boer – best 3rd ave under the price im looking at

    or

Adams (GWS) – good ave, DPP, JS?

    what do you think?

    • adams is in and out of the team like a yoyo. If you are going a mid pricer, get one that can crack the tonne occasionally. Adams gets 70’s. Go de boer, others you could consider are lewis jetta, or embley, van berlo,

      • interesting thoughts – thanks for the input.

Embley is an option i hadnt considered, so ill flip a coin on him and de boer.

        cheers

  • Goodes or Chappy for Robbo??

  • 2 close games this week and I need to make my mind up.

Stanton or Gibson on the field?

  • Keep stanton or use my last trade to go stanton to kade simpson, who should kill it over the next 2 weeks?

And should i bench goodes (his form against good teams lately has been horrible), stanton (if i keep him), gibson or zorko?

  • Del, Godd, Grimes, Dempsey, Carazzo, Enright, Suck – S.Shaw, Morris
Swan, Pend, Watson, GAJ, Pridd, Gibson – Selwood, J.Mac
Kreuz, Mumford – Big O, Redden
Buddy, D’field, Stevie J, Beams, Fyfe, Treloar, Zorko – Choke, Sexton

3 trades left, 87.4k. Supposed to win by 100.

Trade J. Mac for Goodes leaves me 2 trades, $700 and only 1 chance for up/down grade next week if still alive.

Any other thoughts / options ? Trade Jelwood ?

  • Well Jelwood out makes selection easier.
In Swan out Jelwood, my final trade.
I have won 2 finals and have 3 rooks ( Sam Shaw, Gibbo, Treloar) onfield.
Apart from that, I have a team that may take me all the way to September glory.
My bench is : Lake, Dempsey, TRock, Couch, Kreuz, Tom C, JRoo, Dickson.
I am in reasonable shape and look fwd to my date with destiny!!

Beat Dr Dudteam in my semi last week and yeah, it was me that called Nick Maxwell out on SEN ’bout Mitchell, last night.
    Dasall.

  • Need 2 out of Gibson, Martin and Treloar to cover Jelwood and Robinson. Which ones?

  • Play Spurr, Darley or S.Shaw??

  • Sam Shaw or Suckling on the field ???

  • Hey fellas , need some advice this week. Got two trades left, team is this at the moment.

    DEF: B Deledio , H Scotland , B Goddard, M Johnson , B Waters , H Shaw A Carrazzo M Baguley , M Whiley
    MID: G Ablett J Watson D Beams S Thompson , N Dal Santo , D Zorko , J Selwood , T Couch

    RUCK: D Cox , J Giles , J Redden T Campbell

    FWD: S Sidebottom , P Dangerfield , S Johnson , R O’Keefe , B Whitecross , L Franklin , D Smith, M Robinson , J Paine

Opponent this week is very similar, but they have pendles and boyd in mid, and harvy and chappy in forward.

Should I ride my luck using my emergencies, or trade out selwood for swan and Robbo for walker, or anyone really and go with zorko??

    Massive quandary!

  • Carrazzo, S.Shaw, Hurn or Bugg for last 2 positions in def
T.Adams or Martin for last position in fwd
