  • with chappy and buddy back. who to start? martin, zorko or gibson?

  • Buddy!!

  • Almost a full team for the first time this year. If only Dane was out there.

  • Treloar? Vs. Melborne and getting rested or what?

    • Yep, they’re saving him for finals.

    • GWS are tanking. No doubt about it. Cameron, Patton and Shiel all getting season ending surgery and Treloar getting rested when they happen to be playing Melbourne and have a chance to win?

  • rest up trelaor…. and come back BIG AND BETTER THAN EVER!!!!!!

  • Who to bench out of Martin, Goodes and Zorko?

  • Yay Chappy and Buddy back!, i almost have a full team. Now who to trade Swan too??? (my opponent doesnt have him so i need too.
Swan, Ablett, Boyd, Selwood, Rockliff, Barlow are my mids

Thinking maybe Cotchin or Watson?. Guys like Mitchell and Thompson are a bigger risk to get rested then Cotchin and Watson and with their sides really needing every win from now i’d say they wouldnt get rested.

  • Treloar out is very good for me

  • with didak on the bench does anyone think marty clarke can avoid the vestage?? need to decide who to play out of clarke and shaw

  • Some big ins this week.

Now I do have to make a decision on who to bench. Robinson, Rockliff, Martin, Gibson, Zorko. One must ride the pine.

    ……….

  • Far Out! Baguley and Bugg are out. this really stuffs me up. ive got shaw and aylett in subs so ill bring in shaw but ill have to cop a donut. Baguley named as emergency though. Do you think he might be a late change? especially with ryder, stanton and zaharakis coming back in, one of them might not pull up well.

  • this is prob a very noob like question, but is there anyway to see the projected total of an opponent?

    • Yeh. when the first game of the round is on, go to match centre and u can see it even if u dont have ass coach

  • Treleor being rested killing me! Didn’t bargain on that after the month he’s had and it really stuffs my trade plans.

  • Martin or Zorko?

  • is anyone going to trade treloar out now?

  • Need to trade Swanny, should I pick up Cotchin , Watson or Beams?

  • Who to trade in out of cox or maric? Leaning towards cox, thanks

  • I’m playing Dr DT this week ….trying to figure out who to bench as each has a negative, with DPP links it could be any of:

Chapman – coming back from injury.
Sloane – out of form, (but VS Brisbane)
Priddis – average form, (but vs P.Adel)
Gibson – good form, (but vs COLL)
    D. hale – good form vs GC
D.zorko – out of form & against Radelaide
    M. Robbo – out of form & vs ESS?

Based on above I am more tempted to bench, Sloane and maybe Zorko or Robbo… Crazy I know!

    Thoughts anyone?

    • When in doubt..pick your premium player ie: Chapman, Priddis, Robinson. No guarantee, but go with your best at the pointy end of the season.

    • Simple choice for mine, Hale.

  • Can’t believe it. Aside from Swan, full team. Too true to believe..the late out lurks somewhere…

A special thanks to Treloar for your work for the team these last few weeks son.

  • hey guys,

who should i play out of m.clarke or L.spurr?

and also do you think suckling will get the vest again?

    thanks.

  • Tough decision this week. Who should I bench out of the following forwards.

    Martin (low avg all season)
Chappy (just coming back from injury)
    Franklin (same)
    Fyfe (same)
Robo (had a crap week last week just back from injury)
Zorko (is his magical run over?)

    • zorko

      • Really? So you think the gret Zorko the magician has ended his run?

One of the injury returns I reckon will either be subbed or will not have a great game tho. Wouldnt be surprised at a late withdrawl …or two.

        • Chappy a chance for a late withdrawl. Thankfully game on Friday night.

          • I doubt it, if he was a chance at all to not play they just wouldnt name him

  • Ringing Suclking in for Broughton was a
    Horrible choice 2 weeks ago.

    • My fault. Traded in Suckers about 5 weeks ago and he has has been a vacuum ever since.

  • what does everyone think about Gibson > Pavlich/ROK (which one should i pick?)

and then have treloar in the mids as bench cover, and also can dpp with every player on field in my fwds.

    • Personally would go Pavlich. Also Troloar is out this week so dont rely on him for cover.

    • ROK has been impressive. Pav tends to only get big scores if he is kicking goals… but must concede he has been doing a lot of that lately

  • I am in the semis, fighting for my life, 1 trade left and 40K. I am currently going to lose by 6 points.
I have Yarran and Spurr playing in my backline. I could trade my benched Broughton (don’t ask why) to Heppell to get a 20 point advantage.
In my eyes, I don’t think I should do it, but I’d hate to get knocked out and know I could’ve won with my last trade. Then again, if I win, I save trade. But my opponents team is very strong, all premiums except for Gibson. I am worried.

PLEASE HELP! ALL ADVICE TAKEN ON BOARD!!!!!!! HELP!!!!

    Thanks!

  • ZORKO or GOODES on the field?

Never would have thought that would have been a tough decision a few months ago!

  • Zorko or Gibbo?

  • Guys-
    Lemme know who to play.
    M. Johnson or L Spurr….Johnno has been a dud lately while spurr is knocking out 80 with some consistency. Spurr higher projection but that don’t mean squatt…with mcpharlap back Johnno may pipe up with a whole ple of +6 free across half back…
    Thoughts?

  • Ryder —-> Cox
    or
    Giles —-> Cox

    Opponents to go have:

    Giles/Cox round 21
    Cox/Roughead round 22

    Cheers.

  • def: Deledio, Goddard, Birchall, Carrots, Waters, Scotland, Lake, H.Shaw, Suckling

mid: Ablett, Watson, Boyd, Cotchin, Pendlebury, Murphy, Greene, Swan

    ruc: Cox, Maric, Pike, Stephenson

fwd:Beams, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Fyfe, Chapman, Franklin, Martin, Zorko, Treloar

    Thoughts on team?

im pretty happy i have 1 trade left and im in the prelims, i dont think i can do much more to my team but, just save the trade for a injury :)

    • Pretty awesome team mate, good effort.

Looks like you’ve covered all your bases but if you’re after a suggestion with what to do with your last trade, I would check your upcoming opponents teams, and if they have Stevie J or Beams, I would be looking to upgrade Fyfe or Martin to one of those guys. Preferably Beams. Those guys are too good to ignore atm especially if your opponent has both of them.

      Good luck!

    • What’s your team name, please?

  • sorry for multiple posts on this forum, finals stress getting to me.

trade gibson out for stevie j (dpp), leaving treloar in the mids and being able to dpp with basically everyone in my fwd line, thoughts?
or should i trade out treloar and leave gibson in only the mids?

    • Well, Treloar isnt playing, so thats not going to get your very far, a non playing player isnt good bench cover, and with so many half injured premos around, you might eat some donuts if there is a late withdrawl. Gibson has been awesome.

  • Dudes…..i know these questions arevannoying, BUT any insight or thoughts on Daisy? He could get subbed or pay alot of FF? I know he is named, but do u think he could be better than Fyfe for next 2 weeks, or should I bring in Fyfe?

Also who would you bench out of goodes, zorks, dusty, Gibson?

    Cheers lads

  • Just did Rockliff to Birchall and Martin to Stevie J, thoughts?

I was one premo short at the back and Rockliff’s been shitting me since I traded him in so had to be done. Very disappointing having to trade a bloke in then out again.

Stevie red hot form atm and when you look at Martin’s season so far, hardly premo standard. Only cracked the ton 3 times in 17 games, and 6 scores below 80pts.

The burning question is, and I hope some of the DT Talk lads can share their views, will Dangerfield get the Raines tag? Thompson is in poor form to his standards and Danger is flying, so will Brisbane look to pay more attention to him rather than Thomo? Danger hasn’t coped well with the tag in the past so I’m thinking of maybe doing a sneaky and starting Robbo ahead of him. Madness I hear you say? Possibly, but if Danger gets the tag he could be restricted to 60-70pts. Robbo has Judd and Murphy ahead of him tag wise and is named on the ball, so you would hope for 90-100+.

Last time Robbo scored his worst score of the season against Adelaide rd 8 (53pts) he followed it up with 146pts the following week against Melbourne. I know it was Melbourne, but if I remember correctly (and there’s a good chance I’m making this up) I reckon he was also named to play at HF against Adelaide, then on the ball against Melbourne.

Tough to go against Danger in his form but those extra 30-40pts can win or lose finals when everyone has similar teams with little differentials. Thoughts?

    • Danger has been awesome. Robbo had a poor injury form game last week. I am not sure i would go with someone coming off an injury over someone who just blasted 118, 111, 130, 137.

But you never know, maybe you have had a masterstroke…

    • But what if Thommo gets the tag and Danger goes nuts and you have just stuffed it? Who knows maybe ask Vossy…

  • +1 Hale

  • So 50/50 on this one

LAKE (vs Sydney) or SPURR (vs Richmond) ??

    Any help appreciated :)

    • I haven’t used my supercoach since the byes as a joke ima put j roughy as a roughy captain choice against gc coming of a rest.

    • I have the same issue. Spurr has consistency on his side and will most likely pump out around 70. But Lake has a higher ceiling and could be anything from 45-115. All depends if Lake has to try and lock down goodes or LRT, and weather he can run off for some cheap ball, hopefully he is used in the forward line again at some point.

      Your thoughts?

  • WHO WILL GET THE TAG FROM CREEPY CROWLEY, DELEDIO OR COTCHIN
