  • Should I get in Riewoldt in now or wait until hes played Freo away, Collingwood, Bulldogs then Geelong? Because I dont think he’ll see as much of it as he did last week…leaning towards leaving him and just doing the Tapscott > Lynch trade making me a measly $79k.

    Nick…or Nick off?

  • Hey guys.
I’m in a bit of a pickle at the moment with Enright and Heppell out this week. That leaves me with D Stanley (playing against Geelong) and L Thompson (cash cow) on the field filling their holes ;)
I also still have J Darling (playing Collingwood) who is getting close to his BE and was wondering what the best trades this week would be…

Either trade out J Darling for T Lynch (GCS) which gives me enough cash to then upgrade D Swallow or D Harris to H Scottland (Def/Mid DPP) who will cover Enright and also be a premium upgrade who i can use DPP for with the backline.
    OR
Second option is to downgrade D Swallow / D Harris to B Jacobs and use his DPP, then upgrade J Darling to P Chapman.

What do you guys think…appreciate any input!

    • without knowing your whole team it’s hard too say. For example who will be your 7th mid and 8th fwd but option 2 sounds pretty good. Chappy vs Gold Coast and buying him at his current bargain price is too hard to go past. He will never be this cheap again.

  • Montagna or Ablett

Who should I upgrade to from Libertadore?

    • coin toss, who would you hate to see in your opposition team come the GF? I would fear both but Ablett gives me the Heebie Jeebies.

Now can someone tell me how to get Ablett, Chappy and Pendles in on the cheap? Can I buy 1 then get the next one 50% off? Is there a buy 2 get 1 free sale maybe?? Is for Toy or Richardson to get a game too much to ask?

    • tough call i like both after last week, if not for montys 151 i would have said 100% go gablet, im still looking at gablet for cost vs potential and no more byes and too nuggetty to get injured

    • Ablett easily at the price he is now. He is more consistant this year than Monty and is playing in a young team as captain so i think he is out to show the young guys how to play a bit :)

  • Suckling extended bench….wtf?

    • yeah he better make the cut, surely he will

    • naming him last is plain cruel, maybe Shiels gets a game, maybe he could be the sub, what if…..

      • he is the 4th highest averaging player in defence this year, AFL COACHES ARE ALL SPUDS ofcourse he wont play that would make sense

      • maybe shiels gets a game? there is no way he is getting dropped! fears of him being the sub are high though for me, hawks change the sub everyweek so could well be shiels turn now.

    • Has he been named on the field all other matches?? I was having a laugh about Enright being out and then saw him on the bench………Ouch!!

  • Current team almost set,

    Backs: Lids,Gibbs,Adcock,Shaw,Godd,Lower,Jacobs (Smith,Otten,Thompson)

    Mids: Boyd,Selwood,Murphy,Bartel,Ablett,Watson* (Harris,Hibberd,Mzungu)

    Rucks: Cox,Sandi* (Smith,Bailey)

    Fwds: Sylvia,Buddy,Johnson,Goodes,N.Voldt,Knights,Petrie (Tapscott,Matera,Richo)

Plan is to upgrade Thompson>Scotland thoughts??

Then sit for a few weeks pondering when/if I should upgrade Knights or Petrie to Chappy

13 trades left 87K in bank.

    • Hey Brap,

Where did Swan go? did he become Mzungu or Sylvia?

Thomson to Scotland definitely yes… Blues next 4 opponents mean mega points…. Pull the trigger!

How did the plan with the missus go the other night? All good me hopes!!

      • I traded Swan>Selwood in Rd7 and yeah mate lol all sweet with the better half :)

        • i was thinking of scotland next week. having 3 blues in my team is worrying come finals, but other then that awesome team :) (once everyone comes back from injury)

    • Looks good Brap, Knight > Fyfe later on maybe? I hope your DT pro team isnt this good, at least this week anyway ;)

      • Yeah Fyfe could be a goer or Chappy. And my DT Pro team is average @ best!!

    • 87K should be 187K!

  • will gram play again this year 5 good scores 3 avg scores and gone for 2nd week in a row now and NOT injured, anyone know the deal with him? he’s on tomorrows chopping block for me because i have enright too as well as 2 other spuds not playing. I notice a LOT of coaches have dropped him as he is now only owned by 5% of teams….

  • Doughnuts anyone???
for me Heppell, Hibberd, Gram, Enright & im stuck with Coad
    all missing this week!!!!

    • yep i got gram – enright – toy – coad all out, have a trade trying to work out whether to upgrade gram (138800 in bank) or upgrade harris in mids to lids DPP gram to mids bench,

just dont want to sideways trade gram if he is coming back – hence my question above

      WILL GRAM BE BACK?

      • i think he will but how many weeks can we wait before we decide to pull the pin or not??

  • who to upgrade to N Voldt out of Dawes, Didak or Higgins?

my other fwds are J Voldt, Chappy, Goodes & ROK (Darling, Matera, Mzungu) or should I save the cash for a possible mid upgrade next week? I really want Voldt lol

  • 213$ k in bank

    Tapscott – T.Lynch

    Liberatore – ???

    • GAJ

      • I was thinking Chappy… already got Swan, Pendles, Mundy, Murphy, Cross… plus Chappy as the 6th Mid with added DPP flexibility ?

        • you must have a good fwd line then, if you don’t have that DPP link then yeah Chappy, I’m going both, Chappy next week, GAJ the following

          • Franklin, Fyfe, Goodes, N.Reiwoldt, J.Reiwoldt, Pavlich, Higgins, Darling, Tapscott, Matera

Tapscott is a must dump IMO..

Only make 76k from the downgrade to lynch however

    • Selwood

  • @ brak i’d go dawes. higgins & dids clearly have the most upside.

  • Who would you go-

    Toy -> Adcock or Goddard???????????????????????????????????????????

  • whats the better option

    1) Gram – Delidio & McCauley – Cox

    2) Gram – Puopolo & McCauley – JTippett (DPP Petrie in ruck)

DEF has a donut and RUC has a donut – so 2 trades needed for cover.

  • My midfeild i swan pendles boyd cross A swallow and d harris with J irons c beams and bewick on bench. Wat shoul i do wih rohan bewick, he is terrible a consistant 40 every match and when coll and WBD have buys im skrewed, what should i do. I am goona trade out harris for D martin at end of this round?

  • Should I upgrade to Goodes or Chapman this week?

    • well who u trADING OUT

    • Go Goodes this week. Chappy will keep going down in price so if you want him wait back a couple more weeks and pick him up cheaper.

      • ye good call. and goodes is cheaper now so youll have more money in bank

  • Hey does anyone know why B McEvoy was dropped last week and only an emerg this week? He was doing quite well

    • gram started the season well too had a couple of average games as most saints have and now he is gone mia

  • What should i do wif bewick

    • depends on how many trades you have left but maybe trade him to evans next round after evans gets picked for his third game he will go up and up a lot in price and give you a decent upgrade trade to a premo

    • I’m just gonna keep him now as cover for a worst case scenario. There’s no point trading him coz he’s worth sweet FA, and trading him to another guy like Evans who you then plan to trade up is costing 2 trades which I don’t wanna do. He’ll keep getting games so I’ll just hold him in case shit hits the fan later in the year

      • Thats if Evans can hold his spot…remember Trengove, Scully come back in soon

  • whats the better option

    1) Gram – Delidio & McCauley – JTippett (DPP Petrie in ruck)

    2) Gram – Puopolo & McCauley – Cox

DEF has a donut and RUC has a donut – so 2 trades needed for cover.

Sorry posted incorrectly above I wish i could do both as upgrades :)

  • does any1 no wat should i do with rohan bewick

    • keep him for this round his BE is only 30 so he should go up a bit then upgrade him or trade him to evans from melbourne AFTER he gets named for his 3rd game

    • play him this week. wont lose much

  • Heads up fellas I should be trading in Adcock this week so expect his worst score for the season this round… don’t say i didn’t warn you!
I’ve been working out what my team should look like by round 15 after a few (A LOT) of mad trades let me know what you reckon. (first year DT be gentle)

Def: Lids, Gibbs, Godd, Enright, Adcock, Heppell, Duigan (Stanley, Poop, Jacobs)
Mids: Swan, Pendles, Boyd, Judd, Bartel, ASwallow (DSwallow, Mzungu, Evans)
    Ruck: Cox, Sandi (ZSmith, Bailey/Browne)
Forwards: Franklin, Goodes, Pav, Chappy, NVolt, Knights, Didak (Darling, Matera, somerookie)
Will only have 6 trades left! and not a lot of cash in the bank but team is where i want it and should only need to trade for injury’s?

  • Richard Tambling is OUT. Big news.
Definitely some devo coaches out there.

  • T.K.O.L = Tough Khunt On LSD ?

  • Hey lads, 1st time dream teamer from Ireland so don’t get to see all the games.
Going ok, in the top 4000 and doing well in my league
Was just wondering will I trade in
Libba for g ablett or will I be better off holding off another week as libba still has more cash to make and ablett is against cats and price might not rise much with be 76
    Any advice be helpful
    Cheers!

  • good to see little prestia is back for the suns

  • lookinh at downgrading Dawes for Lynch in my fwds and upgrading Gram to Selwood in the mids – really not liking Dawes scores of late and lynch should become a pretty consistent scorer and good 7th/8th fwd. Looking at bringing in selwood to round out my mids then just have a couple more upgrades in the backs and my team is set.

    • Ditching Dawes to Lynch this week to free up some cash and Trading Gram to Selwood in the mids

Does anyone think Dawes scoring will improve later on or is he just going to continue to struggle.
Other option is Gram for Ablett but unsure how he will go against Geelong this week and Selwood has been on fire lately

  • Simple one – play Swallow (GC) or Libba on the field as my 6th mid?

    • I reckon Libba will be on notice after last week so he should smash it IMO.

      • That’s the way I was leaning.

        Another simple one….Montagna or Ablett?

Leaning towards Ablett, just edgy as to whether he will smash Geelong this week to prove a point or they’ll smash him to do the same?!

        • Ha I’ve been tossing up the same trade all week! I’m still no closer to deciding :/

  • Who would be the better player to get in – Fyfe or Sylvia?

By the way – checked out the Hangover 2 today – I cum in your ass, you cum on the floor!!!!

  • Polec out four eight weeks did his knee at training tonight sorry if someone has already posted this

  • i want to bring in lynch this week. i have matera, richardson and prestia all to choose from for the chop. krak and darling could also be considered since they will cash in at a higher value but i would prefer to keep them both.

all players have a low break even so i am struggling who to get rid of.

i like prestia and krak for the midfield link. one of them lives there on a weekly basis but most of the time they are emergency cover.

darling is almost at his peak but he would be a keeper from all accounts. a 7th/8th fwd eventually.

matera still has room to grow but richardson just doesn’t bring in any cash when selling him (even tho he is crap and doesn’t play).

i think matera is the man to get the chop. have i considered all the angles? i am right to pull the trigger.

    • Matera for me this week. If he keeps averaging like he is he’ll only go up anothor $10-15k. I was also all for Lynch tonight but changed my mind.

      • You made no sense.

You said you will trade/have traded Matera but then went off Lynch?

        DOES NOT COMPUTE

        • Haha sorry was late, was saying I’ve chosen to trade out Matera. I was going to bring in Lynch for him but now I’ve changed my mind and will bring in Smith or Mzungu instead.

    • I have an identical bench and an identical dilemma to you.. who the fuck do we chop? If only Richo was up near 100K it would be a no brainer but because he’s not, it isn’t.

I can only really justify ridding myself of Matera and I probably will. Lynch’s 2 90s are just too juicy to pass up on.

    • Matera only has to score 29 this week to rise in price and he is likely to rise around 10k. Keep him.

      • To me Matera increasing $10k more is worthless if your considering a double down/upgrade trade. The $10k he will increase is completely offset by the extra points your premium will score and also if your trading right your premium e.g. SMJ is bottomed out so will increase by $10k or more anyway

    • Chopping Matera though only netting me $80k which is not the best but you can’t miss Lynch.

      • I think I’m going to miss the Lynch boat. I’m not convinced he will score well against gun teams and as a cash making downgrade the extra $30k of going to a $90k rookie is very valuable to my future upgrades. (get Pendles instead to S.Thompson).

Anyone else missing Lynch on purpose as he is only bench cover or am I crazy in missing a potential gun?

  • OK, earlier this week was thinking of a McKernan -> Lynch downgrade & Prestia -> premium mid upgrade and just trying to decide which mid I wanted in.

With Prestia playing and hopefully now continuing to fatten up a bit, I’m thinking perhaps McKernan -> Lynch and the opportunity to also get rid of Richardson and bring in Fyfe.

If I do I can DPP him into my mids meaning I only have to play one of Swallow (GC) and Libba, and leave Matera/Lynch on the field in my forwards OR play Fyfe in the forwards and play both Swallow & Libba in the mids.

    So essentially:

Option 1 – play Fyfe, Swallow and Libba

Option 2 – play Fyfe, Matera OR Lynch, Swallow OR Libba (if option two which 3?)

  • what should i do with higgins hold on or trade to buddy?

and fyfe or chappy as a ddp into my midfield in next few weeks??

    • not sure how fyfe will go without the tap work from sandi the next few weeks, he might struggle to get his own ball.

i would go chappy rather than fyfe.
as for buddy to higgins i would do it because i have never once looked at higgins being in my DT because his out every 2nd week.

  • Hey fellow DT’ers,

Not sure who to pick up out of Tom Lynch (this week) or Isaac Smith (next week…if he plays). Due to my trading plans I can only get one. Their use would not be to gain cash, but to cover for my final team. I am only concerned with league wins. I would rather Smith (DPP and $28,000 cheaper) although I’m worried about his JS. Thought he would slip back into this weeks lineup. If he’ll be in and out the whole season it’s not really worth it.

What are people’s thoughts on Smith’s JS?
    Cheers in advance

  • The dilemma…..Downgrades and Injuries….and poor form (have $124 in the bank(

Ok have a few issues with my team, originally the plan was to do a downgrade this week and bring in little Gaz, however due to injuries and a couple of my tagets reaching their three games this week this has been thrown into disarray…bear with me here

Looking now at bringing in Jacobs and Lynch this week….the problem is who for?

Defensively could bring him in for Otten/Toy or even Gram……Gram maximises the return, but is he coming back and this leaves my backs looking sparse, also I don’t have a dpp(def) in the mids so I am looking at them and have Heppell and Buckley in the backs

Mids….bring him in for Conca or Gaff…..Conca makes the money, but Gaff is doing nothing…..also whichever one I don’t downgrade will be the upgrade the following week, so which makes the most sense (also have Rockcliffe and Watson injured on the bench)

The Lynch issue……Trade for Prestia/Matera/Tapscott or Dawes…..Again the same dilemma here, Dawes makes the money (and looks horrible atm). However am leaning towards Matera as I don’t want too many Suns if I trade Tapscott and Prestia could have the most value upwards if he plays

    So if Conca -> Jacobs
And Matera -> Lynch will leave me $400 in the bank of which $260 will be needed to upgrade Gaff,

Appreciate any input as confusion rules my mind Atm!!!!

    • I would go Gaff – Jacobs and Tapscott – Lynch. If you need more money get Mzungu instead of Lynch. No guarantee Lynch will continue that form. Conca has been in great recent form so I wouldn’t drop him unless you have better cover. I also have Dawes but I’m going to stick with him, hopefully it’s just a form slump.

      • You don’t think Tapsott-> Lynch creates a problem with 3 Gold Coast on the bench (although Prestia is Dpp and I have a Goodes/ROK/Chappy/Fyfe and Sylvia to get around this?) Although I guess GC have no more byes so maybe all good?

        • Yeah no byes is a bonus. They do chop their team a bit but that’s the risk you gotta take.

  • DEF – B.GIbbs, H.Shaw, M.Suckling, Ni.Lower, B.Goddard, D.Heppell, L.Thompson (P.Puopolo, J.Toy, A.Otten)
    MID – M.Hibberd, D.Swan, C.Judd, N.Dalsanto, S.Crameri, T.Liberatore (D.Swallow, S.Atley, D.Harris)
    RUC – D.Cox, D.Petrie (A.Sandilands, J.Tippett)
    FWD – L.Franklin, N.Riewoldt, A.Goodes, J.Riewoldt, J.Darling, A.Didak, A.Krakouer (D.Prestia, T.Lynch, C.Richardson)

Who you want to get rid of: J.Toy, A.Otten, S.Atley, C.Richardson

Who you are waiting a few weeks on:

    Who saved themselves: B.Goddard

    Who you want in:
    A.Otten/J.Toy –> Deledio/Adcock???
    S.Atley –> Pendles/Boyd/Selwood/Barlow/Watson/Montagna/Bartel
    C.Richardson –> Fyfe/Knights/Chapman/Pavlich/Green/Premium

    Isaac Smith???

    Cash in the bank: 358,700!!

    13 Trades left….

    Too many choices!!!!!!!!

    • I’d go Otten – Adcock and Atley – Selwood. Your forward line is the strongest atm.

      • Agree….gotta fix your mids and defence…, maybe even go two trades in the midfield and wait on Otten….Harris/Hibberd/Crameri/Lib to Pendles/Boyd etc

  • Who is lookin at didak next week? I am! He is surely gona come good and when he is approx 280k after this weekend I can fuck off Richardson.Of course if he scores 50 this week I may have to reconsider…

    • Nup, I dropped him like a hot potato a few weeks ago and have been very happy with that choice. Depending on your current players of course I would have thought there are several better choices out there.

      • Here here, Didak is a frikin Dud this year. Had him from the start and got him out after round 6 as hes dropped too much in value. Seems he only keeps dropping. Havn’t regretted it one bit. Started at $411 100 and has only scored the one ton. Stay away from him this season hes not going to get good form all of a sudden. True champion premium players will maintain their value give or take a few $ and score consistently well. He SUX!!! Goddard has been the same lost too much value and poor averages. Same can be said for Ryder dumped him to and glad i did. Higgins is next if he can’t find the ball this week.

  • Anyone have any advice on the following trades for next week and the following week

    Gaff 164000 > Evans 80400 then

Lower 217500 or Krak 246800 to Delidio 365000

    currently have 140k

    Team looks like shit atm

B> Shaw, Suckling, Adcock, Gibbs, Heppel, Jacobs, Lower, B Smith, Puopolo, Duigan

M> Swan, Pendles, Boyd, Mitchell, Rockliff, Harris, Kraks, Gaff, Goodes

    R> Cox, Mcevoy, Bailey, McCauley

F> Franklin, O’keefe, Fyfe, Higgins, Knights, Matera, Prestia, C Richardson, Mzungu, Darling

Was thinking of trading Harris Higgins or Prestia at some point but not sure who. Higgins has this week to prove himself or hes out!!!! Any advice ppl cheers

    • You might want to trade Rockliff he is out for a few weeks with a foot injury.

  • Well I just brought in Mzungu instead of Lynch. I really fear Lynch will be this years Muston/Jizzbits… plus I generally have a rule not to bring in tall key possie players which he definitely is. It leaves me open to trade in Smith next week if he is named – DPP are so important this year I reckon.

  • If anyone on here has Jared Polec in your team trade him he did his knee and is out for a few weeks.
