  • so watson will definitely miss the next 2 weeks?
i thought he was a chance to play against mel after the bye

  • watson :\

  • Geez lookout, Geelong basically full strength with NO INJURIES.

    • Byrnes, Ling, Moondog, Lonergan.. 4 starters listed as test, Menzel a test aswell. If they come through def wouldn’t be at 100%.. But yeh, no real worry on their injury list.
Apart from Nath Brown for the season and Jolly’s continuously dodgy knee the Pies would be pretty happy too.

  • Hoping Rockliff can miss just the one game

    • me too, was pretty relieved when i found out. should be the one game i reckon. 12 days until there next game (after this one)

    • Thank goodness it is “only” a calf and not the achilles they initially feared… For one, or even two weeks, Rocky can sit quietly on the pine for me. Luckily I don’t have any Essendon or Richmond mids to make the decision any harder.

      • As a Rocky owner as well, and obviously would prefer him to be playing this week…but… having the 12 days off (if he only misses one) will allow his body and mind to freshen up. Look out when he comes back against the Swannies!

  • Higgins, all good, hopefully plays this week.

  • Sandi 4 weeks, so he’s back playing in round 14. That bye is dangerously close.

    • Hm… Sandilands to Sellar sounds tasty indeed…..

      • Carefull Sellar’s job security isn’t great. Thats a massive risk. Sellar can also be very inconsistant, slow and is a terrible ball handler. Jacobs or Mcevoy are good cheap on the up ruck picks

    • I was so pissed off at my decision to pick Petrie of Sandi at the start of the season… now Im quite happy with that decision

  • How come Angus Graham didn’t play for Richmond on the weekend?

  • Rumours are surrounding that Swan is carrying an injury into Sunday’s game v Eagles. Glad to see the Catters with no injury concerns and if Sandi and Swan are out, it will be FMDT to every DT’ers this week.

    • That rumor’s been going all season long.

Add to it the one that if the Mapies are easily winning Swan will be subbed off.

The retort to that one is always Swan wouldn’t let that happen as he wants the three brownlow votes.

      • If Swanny gets subbed in the 3rd qtr, we’ll all be screwed this week. CBS as captain options this week. Leaning on either Selwood or Chappy.

        • I am leaning toward Selwood myself too at this stage.

          • Selwood for me too, BUT be aware that Ottens may be rested (that’s my mail anyway). If that’s the case, I’ll go Boyd under the Etihad roof busting his guts for redemption.

  • I heard that Ian Callinan is making his long awaited return to the reserves this week!

  • Hopefully j.lamb gets a game this week

  • Anyone know what has happened to Mitchell the past two weeks?
Traded him in for Curnow two weeks ago when his lowest score of the season was 110 and since then he’s had 61 and 79 – I’m not happy!

  • just realised curnow is only a week away… probably silly to trade him out now…

    • Trying to justify to myself going Curnow to Ablett.

I’ve come up with this rationale: Curnow is a week away and has a BE of 90. That’s 2 weeks before he will start making money again in which time Ablett will most likely rise a shit load.

  • Talia off crows injury list.. Finally! Any chance of selection?
