  • Will bye players be locked during partial lockout?

  • Harper played in the middle for werribee last week
    20disp, 3marks, 5 tackles.

    • Thanks for reply and Harper sounds the goods.

Even though trading to him will save a donut in a team I want to see a rookie play at least 1 game first before I buy.

    • jeez that sounds tempting! but still im going to take that donut just to see how he goes cause may coule be good also

  • Higgins out.

Heppell, Stanley, Harris, Libba & Krak on extended benches. So anywhere from 1 to 6 gaps to fill.

    Not happy!! (Apologies to Chop)

  • prestia to petrie? or cop the nut

    • prestia to petria IMO

      • Well coming straight from the mouth of the dreamteamking himself i may have to now. I’ll turn it over in my mind till full lockout just about hits however.

  • sub hibberd for otten with mckernan as Emg for heppel.

trade richo to j. riewoldt put him on for higgins and I have a full squad!

  • Why is everyone saying heppell is out? he is named… am i missing something?

    • He’s named last on an ‘extended bench’ … when the final team is announced (tomorrow?) he is very likely to be cut from the 22 and miss

      • i know, but he was essondons best last week.. can hardly drop him for that, lonergan wont play, neither will davey, and youd think heppell would be preferred over melksham?

        • Hird said that he was sore and due for a rest. Apparently there was also a radio report in which Heppell’s mum also apparently let the cat of the bag.

    • he is named as emergency, so is krakour

    • essendon website has trimmed the extended bench and heppel is emergency

  • Subs: A. Gaff and L. Dunn
DAMNIT!!!! why do i still have gaff

  • Kinda glad everyone is whinging about “outs/donuts” this week – cause my team is looking sweet!

Hoping to make up a few rankings and climb from the tops 2000’s into the top 1000 or so.

Hope Krak doesnt sneak into collingwood’s best 22 :D (Krak > Fyfe, worth every cent)

  • Popular players such as Otten, Fyfe, Heppell, Franklin, Richardson, Pavlich etc are all going to be out this week.

Should I swap Heppell and Hibberd in DPP mode and unfortunately, I’m forced to cop the one doughnut this round.

Better hope there’s no more late withdrawals.

  • What’s people’s opinion on Jordan Gysberts? too tempting at his price for me

and is Richardson to Jack Riewoldt a good trade or not? and if not what’s a good downgrade to trade him out?

    • Keiran Harper 92K is named this week for norh.

Get Reiwoldt if you will be satisfied with him as a 7th forward keeper

      • Yeah i don’t like trading in players who are just playing their first game, Riewoldt is hot and cold but worth the punt, if i go for him though i have to get Gysberts in

        • Thinking the same about gizzpants. He is a ball magnet, and with Melbs next bye occuring in the multi-byes, will be good for those going for the league win. Only prob is when Scully comes back, think he’ll still be in the side?

  • Traded Higgins into my team this week thinking this would be a top year for him, now he’s sore…… typical. Thankfully no Zero scores for me this week, still got an emergency playing in each position as well.

I moved up 7500k spots this week, into the the top 10k.

    Current Team

Gibbs, Deledio, Goddard, Duigan, Smith, Stanley, McKernan (switched him for ottens before rd1 started), Heppell, Lower, Toy

Swan, Pendles, Boyd, Curnow, Monty, Harris, Libber, Presta, Buckley

    Sandi, Cox, Smith, J.Tippet

Goodes, N. Reiwoldt, J. Reiwoldt ( <=== was Krak), Dangerfield, Darling, Tapscott, Petrie, Franklin, Higgins, Matera

Overall think I'm traveling reasonably well for 2nd year DT player. $292k sitting in the Bank for upgrading rookies

Bring on the doughnut round for as many teams above me as possible :)

  • hey boys the only way i can prevent a donut this week is to go richo > harper,

should i cop a bagel and wait to see if harper is worth it or go for it?

    • Same as me although I could also trade Prestia to Harper. I think I will make the trade even though there is no guarantee he will play many games as I will try to hold or improve my ranking which is slowly clawing its way to the top

      • i could do prestia too, i think prestia has better JS,
do you think you’ll do it then mate?? or will harper start as sub? :S

        • Yeah true about Prestia’s JS, and in regards to Harper getting the green vest… its a risk I am going to have to take

          • Cop the 0. He may be a dud, then youve wasted a trade on a dud for the sake of 40 odd points. Would be better to wait and see if he any good jump on after his 2nd game also gives you a chance at possibly doing a better trade if something pops up.

  • Yarran out for me this week
just got in Sylvia Welcome to Rat Magic Sylvia :)

  • WCE vs MEL
    Subs Gaff Dunn

  • im copping 3 dounuts in the forwards this week and im thinking i might go richo to lecras as a unuiqe pick, or Goodes

I need 2 upgrade him sooner or later so might as well do it now

    What are you guys thoughts??

  • thinking of krak to tapscott
    good idea?

also is heppel any chance of playing?

    • heppell will be rested , guarenteed … have him on the ground in the odd chance he might play but make sure you have an emergency wherever you have him , mid/def …

  • Is Simon Buckley a good chance to play???

Should I put him on instead of Heppell?

  • Looking at getting rid of ryder – can’t afford sandi atm but looking at either petrie or mcauley as a downgrade to free up some cash. Other rucks are cox, zac smith and derickx. I’m getting a bit concerned at how ryder is playing atm and is scoring terribly – is there an injury concern or a role change?

  • I wanna trade out Rioli and i will have 423,000 to spend. Who should i bring in out of J.Riewoldt, D.Petrie, N.Riewoldt or anyone else.

Im in the top 1000 and 4th in the NSW schools comp so i need some help to at least get 2000

  • Looking at 3 krispy creme’s this week :(

    Couple of options;

    1. R.Tarrant (spud) > Hibberd & Richardson > Hale (gives me DPP ruck to swap Petrie into FWD’s)

    2. Vickery > McCauley & Richardson > J.Voldt

Option 1 leaves me with 1 donut & Option 2 leaves me with 2 donut’s but a bargain keeper in J.Voldt

    Help please……

  • Traded Vickery (BE of 94) to McCauley and freed up 101k (144k overall in the bank)

now i face a 0 in defense with Otten being dropped – looking for thoughts on the following possible trade:

Otten OUT Adcock IN – Have Lower, Enright, Bucks on the bench not playing this week

    or

Cam Richardson OUT Jack Volt IN – wont cop a 0 in fwd if i dont make this trade but will miss out on Volt before his price rises…

    thoughts?

  • I got three donuts this week. am willing to wear it during the bye round and hold onto trades.

  • PLEASE HELP ME:

To avoid 2 of my donuts, I am thinking:

Krak -> Didak/J Roo (using 160k in bank)
    and
    Richardson->Harper

    Thoughts?

  • Any word on why ryder has been playing so poorly lately? He seemed a pretty popular pick preseason but haven’t heard anyone talking about him since, or why he has been scoring so poorly

  • Bit of advice from the guru’s please.

    3 issues;

FWD – Broughton -> ? Already have Heppell, Duigan, Toy, Lower, Hibberd . ??????????????????
I can go with out doing this week as I have cover.

    What I do need to sort out is;
MID – Krakour is my key to keep the MID/FWD DPP alive. Is it too early to grab Mzungo? He’ll just be there for DPP purposes till he plays. Current rook mids are Curnow, Swallow, Harris, Libba.

FWD – C Richardson -> Already have Darling, Matera, J Watts, Prestia, Fyfe.
FWD line is where the 0 is pending.

    $30,800 in kitty.

Thinking Broughton -> Adcock but thats about all I can come up with. My first 100% option black out. Please help DT genius’s.

Anybody know anything about these ctr, fwds?
    Ian CALLINAN, ADE
    Tendai MZUNGU, FRE
    Thomas SCHNEIDER HAW,
    Isaac SMITH, HAW
    Robbie HICKS, RIC
    Nick WINMAR,STK
    Dylan MCNEIL,SYD

What is Luke Thompson’s (ADE) story?

    • bit late now I know but you can still get Adcock for defence definitely and if i had read your post earlier then i would of traded Richo to Tapsott avoiding both donuts and Tappy is a cash cow aswell , oh well …

  • OUT THIS WEEK: Enright, Lower, Otten, Bewick, Bartel, Sandi, Franklin, Fyfe, Higgins, Richardson, possibly krakouer

    WOW THANKS DREAMTEAM!

  • do i keep Big Cox’s score of 121 and keep him as Vice Captain and use the loophole or do i be greedy ???

what do you think people ???

    • think I’ll take it, cant complain when your cap makes 120+

      • @ Brak

i think you are correct , Big Cox it is !!

and on another note , mighty impressed with my West Coast Eagles so far this season ,
        much improved :)

        • Nah, I reckon Swan will beat 121… or Watson if you have him

          • I have Watson and Swan and also had the Vc on Cox. I dont think i will take it. Both should get over 120 question is, which one is going to destroy it. Hopefully both as i am still struggling to decide,

          • Watson V The Beach Boys – get on that!!

  • Am surprised Prestia didn’t even make the extended bench….. he is now on the chopping block, but has Krak and Richo in front of him and only two axmen this week

  • Has anyone seen Dr Dream Team’s forward line?

    ROFL!!!

  • I count 6 doughnuts alone for Dr Dream Team in the forward line, 4 if he makes two trades. Colonel, I’m lovin it!

    • wonder if he already sideways traded during the week.

    • i can only count 3. 1 if he double trades.
thats of course taking away the 3 donuts in the emergencies

      • Krakouer won’t play , no chance …

so Dr DT DONUT has 6 non scoring players in his forward line and even if he trades for 2 of them he will still have 2 donuts (and yeah 1 if KRAK plays)

    • mtooler wrote: “Colonel, I’m lovin it!
How DARE you cross reference Mcdonalds next to my name. That’s 10 points off Gryffindor for that piss poor effort.

  • good start cox 120, darling 98, sylvia 90, grimes 86 – happy with that.. darling is looking like a definate keeper atm along with curnow and heppel.. trades this week bruce to adcock and krak to polec if krak isn’t picked will leave me with out: heppel, lower and otten – backs bartel, bewick – mids sandi, keffe – rucks and buddy, prestia, richo – fwds

    • Tapscott is looking like a deffinate muppet and the sooner i upgrade him the better.

      • Harsh mate – he’s already racked up $70 + and with a few more 80’s like Rds 1 & 2 he can easily keep the cash coming.

I’m definitely holding onto him for a few more weeks. At least waiting for a decent kid to come through in the forwards (Mzungu, Callinan, Smith anyone??)

But your call mate. Burn those trades to your hearts content

  • Out of Harris, Swallow, Libba who should sit pine?

After Swallow dominated that last quarter I feel they’ll have to play him in there with Gaz and Harris … Anyone think Libba will be on struggle street up against Pies? Bit hard to leave the guy with the better average out though!

  • anyone keeping Cox’s 121 VC score for Captain…?

    • Hey CheeseBalls, Coxy’s 121 didn’t quite cut the mustard for me … I think Swan would be looking at a minimum of 110 against the Bulldogs with the potential to hit 160. Therefore there is too much upside to make Swanny my Captain. :-) Just my thoughts though. :-)

      • think of it like this guys if Swan pumps out a 140 you’ll only be +19 up, do you think 19 points is worth the risk?

        Swan 140×2 280 + Cox 121 = 401
        Cox 121×2 242 + Swan 140 = 382 difference of only 19

Cox captain locked in for me

  • If Higgins is being rested due to “soreness”, does that mean he’ll be back next week?

  • Heppell & Krakouer playing this week

  • whats the bet Heppell and Krak are subs this week???, Kraks speed might be handy for the pies in the 3rd/4th qtr
