  • Puppolo vs. Coad vs. Otten???????

    Gaff vs. Heppell vs. Conca?????

    all so good, cannot choose!!!

  • Is it true that Hibberd did a quad and is out for a few weeks? Any official link?

    • This “apparently” was the case over 24 hours ago, there is NO confirmation of this so seems to be BS. However tkol and asstodick are really backing it up on DT talk

    • If this is true i will be soo pissed

      • who cares if he misses a few weeks…..hes a dpp link…still worth keeping there

  • ay monty just posted his team on fan footy…..ive seen better! does he have any actual history of finishing up in the rankings? or is he just good with numbers and websights and what not…

  • Glad David (or Luke as stated on the teams) Astbury is named on the field, swapped everitt for him and then could upgrade Fraser to Sandi :).

Vickerys JS is pretty good yeah?, got him as my 3rd ruck

  • If I were to have duigen, curnow and conca as my Emg’s

can i change the Emg to someone else after the game is over and its not locked out anymore?

  • Hey is it true that neither the captains loophole or the emergency loophole won’t work this year? Thanks.

    • heard rumours on this thread its NOT working, i dont wanna take the risk…Swan LOCK!

      • Can we stop with the bs. The captain/emg loopholes will work. there is no way to prevent it from happening under a partial lockout

  • hey i gotta question if i put gibbs as captain tonight and then if he doesnt do well tomorrow can i change the captain to swan before the full lockout
an answer to this would be greatly appreciated

    • nope it will be locked onto him…you cant change it

      • There is no possible way they can stop us from putting on a captain during a Partial Lockout….
        Bogus rumour

    • Think you make him vc and no one capt…then after 1st lock out if he played well you leave it as is. If he didnt then you nominate someone as capt. Shrug think this is the idea ….but not 100% sure.

    • It’s not a hard theory to get! facepalm!

Check calvins captains mate. if anyone can get it into ya head it will be vin

  • I have 120k left after finally deciding on my team but I feel like thats $70k too much ????

I have A Swallow, Rockliff and Foley in my mids but I like what each has to offer – A.Swallow should be gunning it and provide lots of tons before finals trade in, Rockliff should be up to 400k very soon and may be a keeper, and Foley is my sure to play, money maker.

Should I try and squeeze it in, or chillax?

  • Sumner or Tapscott

  • Which should go?

    Hibberd, Bewick or Pittard?

Hibberd – DPP and Hird has said he goes off the idea that you are as good as your last game.

Bewick – Can score but JS is interesting.

Pittard – Has the bye last and will (IMO) make the first couple of rounds definitely although low scoring.

Maybe I take Irons with some risk, toss Pittard and then make a flip on Hibberd or Bewick.

    Thoughts?

    • I personally have Bewick and Hibberd (only for DDP) but PIttard could be a good pick

  • Just an interesting point I thought i’d point out:

The substitute doesn’t necessarily come from someone picked on the interchange initially. Unlikely but it could be someone who was initially listed on the field!

    • Yeah, that’s right. They haven’t got that as a stipulation. However, it should be… like how the ‘emergencies’ must come from the extended interchange and not from the starting 18 that is named.

      • Hows it going Warnie?
Only a couple of days till the ca$h league see what each other are all about!
Look forward to seieing your team in particular.
We’ve come along way from our initial banter, I feel one hell of a rivalry beginning this season!

        • Didnt think this was the spit or swallow topic

        • Hello fellow dreamteamers!

I have a league at the moment that requires filling… Beware, we are a strong competition at this stage – in fact, I have been banished from the pitiful league I was in last year because I was too good! I was the only finisher inside the top 1000 and so they went to extraordinary lengths to omit me this year!

Join for some quality competition and perhaps you might learn something from the awesomeness of DADS NINJA HOLE!

        • Tempted to get Liba now. Surprised Veszpremi didn’t get a spot.

  • Do people think its worth having petrie in from round 1? or do you think get someone like a Hurley in till round 5 (b4 petrie’s price goes up) hope he makes you some money then trade down to petrie, but waste a trade?

  • What you guys think of salopek or foley?

  • HereIam86

    Trent Cotchin or Liam Anthony?

  • judd or a swallow?

  • Trent Cotchin+David Hale+ Chris Knights

    or

    Dane Swan+Joel Tippet+J. Darling?

  • A question about the partial lockout…

If I make a change (obviously non Richmond and Carlton players) after the partial lockout, will that count as one of my 24 trades?

  • Hurley or Yarran? who will rise more?

  • For anyone who may be sick of admiring their own team and is ready to gawk at disbelief in that of someone else, the good doctor has kindly issued his “Dream Team 2011″. It seems our old mate has gone bongo for dpp this year and is unconcerned about minor trifles that could disrupt his team in mulit-bye rounds. Oh Nicky you’re so fine, you’re so fine you blow my mind, hey Nicky.

    • phd. in DT = phd in dick taking

      pretty shit team

      • has gone with to many dpp’s i believe as well there not that inmportant, sure have a couple but not half your team

  • RIEWOLDT or GOODES?

  • Foley or not to Foley??

Is it worth downgrading sayy deledio to foley.
then either keeping money in bank or upgrade pavlich to didak, otten to some mid-priced def, or petrie to cox

  • hmmm…no Hibbard.
    Duigan and Batchelor are playing.
now im hoping Buckley is named
    i have Lower,
i dont think Puopolo will play,
    Heppell in my mids,

anyone else got any ideas to replace Hibbard??

    • how do you know hibberd* is not in ?
teams apart from calr and rich are not out yet.
dont believe the footy show squads they are always wrong like last year.

      • if hibberds injured Im going to have to cop it! Its f**ked I dont have time for this bullshit!

      • another user on this site TKOL (whos opinions mostly are taken with a grain of salt) posted on DTTALK yesterday that Hibbard has twanged a hammy and might be out for a few weeks…..at the time i paid no attention, but now i see Hibbard is not named in the initial squad (and yes it was the footy show that i seen the squad) i’m looking for another option to take his place, i will wait for teams posted on Sportal.com tomorrow before i make a final decision but Essendon playing on sunday doesn’t help selection

        • I have dead set been pulling my hair out for about an hour, I have realised that unless he turned out to be this years Barlow he wasn’t going to get on the feild(My DT that is) at any stage anyway!

Purely a M/D tool, no Im thinking about picking up Hine or even the StK rook um ..$82k or so

          • i wouldnt go panicing too much…its not ideal if he is not selected obviously, but if u don’t think there is a decent option to replace him then i say keep him and dont waste a spot on your bench with someone who is either not on your radar or an 80k krispy kreme. Hibbard will play games, we jst might have to wait a round or few to see him….players like Sean Mckernan could replace him but i feel at about round 3 or 4 we might be thinking Relton Roberts all over again and Hibbard will probably be playing by then. i think for my self the only option would be Buckley but he might find it hard to keep a regular spot with Collingwood

          • Ha! thank you thank you
            I couldn’t see it!
I have Buckleym use him as the tool, move Hibberd to backs then out he goes and Batchelor in!
            ha

          • Hibberd is injured, i posted about it on tuesday.

        • haha. You listend to the footy show? Dude thats sqauds are BS. They didn’t even have Barlow for Rd1 last year!

    • Keeping Hibberd for the M/D link, when he plays he’s fairly certain to string together enough games. Already have enough playing rookies in Def to cover the donuts.

  • its unusual to have teams coming out on the footy show and not being displayed on any website….

    • yeah i wondered about that too, i wont be making hasty decisions based on the footy show but Hibbards non selection will be what im looking into between now and friday lock out

      • who is regarded as more chance to play anyway, hibberd or heppell ?
at least one will play, so if you have both you will always have cover in def or mid.

if hibberd isn’t selected, do not change him!
everyone is going to have at least 10 rookies in their team you can’t expect them all to play every week right ?

        • neither are locks for round 1.. i can see hird playing experienced playres rd1

        • I posted on Tuesday that Hibberd is injured and won’t play round one but no one believed me. I don’t wanna say I told ya so but I TOLD YA SO

    • they just throw random names in a hat and choose. those sqauds are bs dont listen to them

  • 4 spots left in league 563872. its fairly casual with some really good teams and a few bad ones. join if ur keen

  • Sylvia or Pavlich?

League 812887 if anyone is up for a challenge!

  • well I had Sylvia… but i’m still not convinced, I’d probably go Pavlich

  • tap tap taparoo! just taaaaap it in…

    http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/109871/default.aspx

    tapscott to debut this week!

    • BOOYAH… there’s a forward rookie for us. not currently in, but if Darling doesn’t get a gig, hello Tapperoni!

    • He has been on my standby list for a while now. if a guy like darling doesn’t get a gig he could come in

  • I can’t believe it all starts again tonight!

hopefully gibbs can do what carrazzo did last year.

  • feel like joining multiple leagues, pls join the gladiators league:
    (League invite code: 192660)

  • Thoughts on Mitch Clark? Will he burn it up this year, or be playing more up forward?

And thoughts on rookie ruckmen? Who’s actually gonna get a game to stop my team becoming a donut factory?

  • Nick Lower (no surprise there) and Jayden Pitt (surprise) to debut for the Dockers against the Lions.

No Michie or Jack Anthony tho.

Pitt was recruited for his great foot skills so could be a tenth forward option…

  • Hibberd out for round 1

  • HereIam86

Where did the The Footy Show get those playing list from for the teams on the weekend? Because I seen when they show the Bombers playing list Michael Hibberd wasn’t in the team and in the Lions team Jared Polec wasn’t in. Then on the AFL site today it said only the Tigers and the bules have name their teams and the other teams have not.

And I seen on the Lions website that Jared Polec is in line for a round 1 debut.

    • Footy Show just make them and fail. They didn’t even have barlow in last year

  • Libba on the ball for the dogs :o. Wallis will be named an emg for sure. Chapman an EMG

  • Barlow named on interchange!!!!!

For the Western Bulldogs of course.

  • 868714 – strong competition…

  • 941831 – new and 2nd yr DT players…cheers :)

  • who will average more, harris or swallow. just wondering if it worth spending 60k if swallow will play on bench and harris on the field

  • Im just wondering if anyone can please answer my question:

Is Daniel Harris of the Gold Coast Suns injured or not?

    • keep him anyway, you SHOULD have cover. cant see him being out too long IF its true. Save a trade too :)

  • breath in breath out. breath in breath out. breath in breAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I CAN’T TAKE IT ANY LONGER!!!!!!!!!!!!
