I feel your pain warnie went down by 5 in my qual final. At least you weren’t stupid enough to have sylvia captain!
I don’t think geelong will rest any big names this week as its an important game, losing could mean playing collingwood in 1st final, not sure if they would want that after last week..

Glas I’ve got the week off this week, bound to see a few saints rested.

Cats wont rest this week, cant see them resting against the Blues as the Blues beat them earlier in the year.

Round 22 against the eagles is a sure thing to rest.

Quality entertainment as ever guys…what I like most is the theme music at the beginning. I’m giving it a go as my ring tone ohhh yeahhh. Warnie, you’re not moonlighting as a cooler at the Hobart casino are you??? Despite new Warne Dogs getting stripped of their prowess in their first games in the new jersey, how does this read as a list of interviewees this year: Campbell Brown, Hodge, Ellis, Sherman: injured, gone to dt shit, same, dropped. OH boy.

For arse clowns such as myself who have to go through the ignomy of playing this week…I’m just going to enjoy it while I can. Cats’ and Dogs’ guns are safe and will play as both teams need to beat serious opposition before the finals so I’m not worried about this week. But I’m tipping the rest carousel will be lit up like Coney Island the week after with all the stars bludging. So it’ll be my spuds versus last week’s winners’ spuds…mad Monday will begin on Friday night when the team sheets are posted!

Great Stuff as Usual

this week i have a very easy game (the 10th ranked team in my league came 4th :O) so should win

but my midfeild is Ablet, Swan, Selwood, Judd, Mitchell and DAVIS, Harwood and Gysberts
my forward line is Chapman, Riewoldt, Brown, Okeefe, Hall, Higgins, Betts, Fyfe and Playfair
I have 121k in the bank but only 1 more trade

Davis is due to drop this week unless he scores around 100 (34 last week)
Should i trade him for a mid/forward worth less than 389k
If so who?

  Word from reports after game said illness (flu) but injury report says general soreness………..either way nothing major so expecting him back this week.
  Reading few reports and sounds as though flu has hit a few sides already, may affect some teams this weekend too.

the strategy is so different and obviously in Australia we don’t get the news that they do so a good DT talk equivalent is crucial!!!!!!

  There are some, but no great ones- Google premier league fantasy blog and some come up.
  
  The basic’s are the same, pick some brilliant players Lampard/Fabregas/Gerrard/Rooney/Drogba, these are the main captains, and most likely to score you good scores on a consistent basis. (Plus these are the players that get the 3,2,1 bonus in each game)
  
  Then a few other middle range players Cahill/Bale/Barry/Defoe/Tevez etc.
  
  All the cheap players are cheap for a reason, yet if you can find some that are definite starters, then pick them, a few of the recently promoted teams can give you a really cheap player that does all the scoring at the club.
  
  The best way to have a good season is to pick a good core from the start (More luck then skill), because when you trade a player out you lose money on what you paid for him, so if you buy player A for 10.00, and his price rises to 12.00, if you sell you will only get 11.00 for him (something like that, its a percentage.)
  
  Best tip is pick a good defence, all clean sheets are massive scores, and cheap defenders that are in a side that get clean sheets often, is a massive bonus.

  thomas can be incosistent too, if ur facing elimination prospects then go for it but if ur team is significantly better save the trade but better safe than sorry

i feel your pain i was 4th playing 1st in a league for money and i went down by 2 points on the siren thanks to lindsay gilbee getting a late touch.

I had bloody joel selwood captain instead of swan for some reason, dont even ask why

and copped a 0 thanks to sandilands and my 1 trade.
