Be an Owner of DT TALK’s #3 Dog!

Here at DT TALK we love our DT that much we have 2 greyhounds and are now releasing the third! Our first dog “Dee Tee Talk” (kennel name: Swanny, after the great Dane Swan) has been going well, but had a rough run in her last start. She’s a black and white bitch who will be ready to fire just like the Pies! Our 2nd dog hasn’t been named yet but carries the kennel name of “Lingy” as he is a true ranga! Hasn’t yet race but fingers crossed he will shortly! Owning greyhounds and being apart of it all is just wicked fun. Telling your mates… “Hey Thomo, that’s my dog running there…” is pretty cool. Get on our third dod that we have high hopes for…

Greyhound Racing
Greyhounds are in the rearing phase from 3 months to approx 13-14 months. They then get sent to breaking in which is the education stage. This lasts for approximately 6 weeks. Generally they are then given a spell for about a month to recover and then begin pre-training. Pre-training is the lead up to the first race start. RunDoggieRun will break this up into 6 week blocks and there will be small weekly costs associated with your share purchase for this period.  The time a dog is in these stages can vary depending on injuries, ability, chasing habits etc.
