get rid of seaby for sure, and dont bother starting 3 rookies in the mids you’ll be way behind by rd 6. im starting 1 rookie in the mids and backs and thats it. put the rookies on your bench they wont get more than 65 as an average

man firstly no expensive ookies on the bench, waste of cash, secondly players like higgins are injury prone and for that price their are better players. Rhyce palmer is in at 277k and has a better history than cotchin hoo is a massive risk, with the money u save from down grading martin and sheppard you can upgrade to a super premium or gumbleton
Palmer won’t play round 1… they are going to be super careful with him.
And Higgins… he could easily be one of the best players in the competition. He’s a gun. And I’m not a Bulldogs fan either. . When you watch him play he oozes class. I wouldn’t have him in my DT midfield just because there is better value there, but certainly nothing wrong with throwing him in the forwards. He managed to play through his injury problems most of last season, and before that he had a broken ankle which can happen to anyone. If he is 100% come round 1, don’t be suprised if he averages 100+ for the season.

switch kurt tippett into your rucks for David hille, then put Lobbe into your forward emergencies for dennis lane
and get wayne skipper from hawks into your ruck emergencies
this means you can use the position switching thing during the season with tippett and lobbe when you need to, and you have around 350k to use on a forward line player
(i would recommend robbie gray)
also, why rusling? is he back from injury?
im not sure about gettin rid of hille, i think he mite have a decent year much like 2008…

ok sorry guys about the late reply, i was reading my sunday mail and it had a very good article this are the main things out of it. It said robbie gray and travis boak were amazing in the midfield they played every minute of the match. Other good players were justin westhoff and matthew lobbe who shared ruck duties it also pointed out that kane cornes played most of the game tagging and when not tagging up forward. In the article it said that kane cornes this year when not tagging in the midfield will go into the forward line. it also said that chad cornes will spend most of his time in the backline. They said it will be a big battle against lobbe and westhoff for the ruck spot lobbe took an amazing specky aswell and they said he was better than westhoff in the game. Steven salopek and dom cassisi dominated at the clearances. Nathan krakouer has bulked up and was very creative running from halfback. last thing it said was that the rookies in port to look out for are john butcher and jasper pittard who will play the nab cup.
I’m from Adelaide and I try not to read articles on how good a players form is in the local newspapers mainly because it’s always talking up how well someone is doing, then they turn out to be duds. Not saying this will happen, just saying that the papers here are well geared towards the power and crows

Get Hunt from the cats in your backline somewhere to save some cash.
Maybe get redden from brisbane instead of kerr.

dont get kerr, get a better midprice, I would suggest masten as a throwaway.
Waters isnt necessarily a bad choice, you actually havev a pretty good team.
Wouldnt get Chappy just yet, Sylvia or J Brown are apparently about to explode and maybe Dangermouse instead of Porps

Midfield is way tooo strong and lacks ur fwd, backline and rucks. Get heath shaw instead of cornes as shaw will play midfield time. midfiels are awesome but if u downgrade swan to a mastern/mcveigh type of player u can get a permium reuckamn or even another mid-prices midfield player and get rid of trengrove. Jono Brown always starts slow so get gia. gumbleton is a very risky forward as a bench option but may work and get rid of tapscott cos hes injured.
