Like most other Tasmanians that were going to grace the halo turf of Aurora Stadium with my presence on the weekend, I fell violated. St Kilda Have named 5 changes to their team to “take on” the Hawks at Hawk Park. Not only is it an open hand slap to the face of the Tasmanian public but also to all those Dream team coaches out there that are about to play their first week of finals.
The Voldt, Montagna, Hayes, Goddard and Baker are all named out with the lamest injuries. There is every chance that all of these player will be back next week which makes their exclusion from this weeks teams all that much dodgier.
How much have St Kilda screwed you over? Luckily I am a massive Saint hater so I only have Goddard but I am sure there are some Saint supporters out there that are loaded up with them.
Let us know who you have out this week and how many donuts you are carrying as a result of the circus act that call themsleves St Kilda.
PS: You can’t complain about Baker not being named cos you shouldn’t have him in your team in the first place.

The worst part is i could minimize the damage but i have no idea how long they will be out for. How bad is goddards knee?, Will Grimmes play again (tankitise)?and how Bad is Montagna’s elbow? I am hoping that fisher and Volt will be back next week. And i so wanted to trade Kade simpson for Bartel.
Also got a bit of an inside word from someone within st.kilda that del santo is not 100%. If they are resting everyone else and they pretty much know they cannot win then why play him?? You could see him out by nights end!
Don’t lose sight of the fact that if you have a good team you will have most of these players out, meaning so will many others. The teams that dont have any of these player wouldn’t be in the finals anyway. It all comes down to your bench cover right now…

Looks like I’m going to escape with only one donut (knock on wood) being Skipworth having resisted the urge to trade out Higgins who is riding my pine. Had to trade out Ben Ross of Lockyer, but that was the plan anyway.

steele is the only player in my squad of 30 that is not injured and is not playing this week. i have $3m sitting on the bench. so i picked 29 players that would be playing if not injured, yet i only have 19 on the field and that inlcudes a bunch of kids. go fk yourself dream team.

What a shit week for Matty Maguire to not get up from a Hammy injury – one would’ve thought he had to play if he wasn’t the only genuine injury in St Kilda.

Supposedly Dal Santo will play according to Lyon, but then again, he’s the man who said he wouldn’t rest players (and there’s still politician-style wiggle-room in “At this stage Dal is planning to play.”).
