Rookie rap nicknames
If you think this is stupid blame mOnty over at FanFooty. He got the ball rolling by giving Jack Ziebell the nickname Jay-Z. Then David Zaharakis popped on to the scene and DT Talk poster Disco (UK) suggested Dizzee Rascal. Given most of the new kids on the block remain nickname-less, I thought we might as well give the whole class of 2009 a rap mogul moniker.
I’m suggesting 50 Cent for Daniel Rich, seeing as Fiddy predicted the importance of Daniel to our DTs way back in 2003 on his debut album Get Rich Or Die Tryin’.
Mitch Robinson’s hyperactivity and paleness make him a prime candidate to be coined Eminem/Slim Shady, while Dayne Beams can clearly play so could earn the right to be called The Game.
For his two rounds of crapness, I’m going with Ol’ Dirty Bastard for Stephen Hill.
We still need to nickname the likes of Nic Suban, Jeffery Garlett, Sam Jacobs, Jake Spencer, Jesse White, Kyle Cheney, Mitch Brown, Taylor Walker, Alex Rance, Wade Thompson, Darcy Daniher, Jared Petrenko, Aaron Joseph, Andy Otten, Patrick Dangerfield, Neville Jetta, Greg Broughton, Liam Anthony and more, so get to it.

Once we give rap names to rookies, there should be a DTT glossary so everyone knows who is who. A similar blog could be DTT phrases (like ‘the Pink Pig’). Or not.
