The Convicts… DT Premiers ‘08?
The side sitting on top of the overall ladder, The Convicts, coached by Matthew, looks to have the Aurion V6 in the bag. He is currently 277 points ahead of Kev’Stars who lost top spot after The Convicts massive Round 21 score (of 2353). What is also an awesome story for The Convicts is that they are in the Eliminator Grand Final and are probably starting favourite there too! Yay go Convicts!! Given he is in my league, I feel that I have contributed to his success in some small manner.
From memory, he came 3rd overall last season and didnt even make the grand final in our league.
Well that may change this year. He’s in line for an Aurion (plus 2 grand final tix), $5k for the Eliminator, and the all important $350 if he wins our league final this weekend…unless Greg can manage a victory.
Go Matty and bring on the party next week!!!

I think Pork Hunt or Enid the Elephant deserved to win our league, not you two. Prizes should go to team name originality.

I think there should be prizes for top ten/twenty…even if it means lowering value of top prize a fraction. How about tickets to the grand final or something?
if he is from victoria he wont get airfares included in his GF tickets prize. therefore they should make him drive to the ground in his V6 aurion and do a lap of the ground! will be a nice little weekend for him also with $5K spending money thanks to the eliminator if he gets up …. and he should win his league you would think! is there any chance the trifecta will not happen. be hilarious if none of the results came in, losing both his league and eliminator GF and Kev’s Stars storm home with a mammoth score!
