Hmm its a toss up between Kane Cornes, Joel Corey or the old Gablett, looks like im going to go with Corey against their tough opposition in Melbourne. I have been playing this game to, it actually killer, go to http://goallineblitz.com/game/signup.pl?ref=17070524 to check it out. It gets better after the first couple of days though, so make sure you stick with it.

bartel shouldn’t even be in the top 10 for the brownlow. too many uncontested possies in the backline and doesn’t use it well enough. enough of australia’s tall poppy syndrome, ablett for brownlow

huge pressure on bartel this week DT wise…we all better hope he performs!

    @Mark

I’d say all the people who are interested in an American football game will have visited the website by now. No need to keep posting it…

Break evens are available here ->

    http://tooserious.typepad.com/

Create an account and login they have tables which show you most of the stats you might want

    Dan.

p.s., after saying that to Mark, I should say I’m not affiliated with the website nor do I get referral points :)

p.s., anyone who is worried about breakevens at this stage of game must have a lot trades up their sleeves!!! :)

I don’t think they really matter in the finals as much because every game is basically an elimination final - and you need to field the best team possible every week to ensure you survive… waiting an extra week or two for someone to bottom out in price could cost you your place

Thinking a very out of the box call in Stevie J here, reckon he could kick a big bag.. ill probably wuss out and go with Gablett or JB though

  23. GravatarBy luke hodge on Aug 8, 2008 | Reply

no im more wondering whether to pounce now or leave it a week. very serious business. my decisions could mean the difference between getting jordan mcmahon and getting mackie. (i really want mackie.)

thanks guys. out of curiosity, have they corrected these BEs. they were pretty wack a few weeks back.

I’m tossing between trading Didak for Gia or Steve Johnson.

Pros for Gia - he is $30K less than S Johnson and averages about the same.

Pros for S Johnson - he may well have a big one this week against Melbourne. I need a big score to pull off a slight upset.

Any views on the merits of these 2 players? THANKS

  25. GravatarBy Barge on Aug 8, 2008 | Reply

PS after this one, I have 3 other trades, so the extra $30K could be of use

    corey
    buddy
    which 1???

  27. GravatarBy Toolie on Aug 8, 2008 | Reply

Ablett for Captain? I’m kicking myself i didn’t trade him for Bartell when the price diff between them was 98k ish…..

How bout Cox? I know hill gave him a bath last time but with the eagles under 21 side running out this week he’ll be first option to kick to in the midfield.

  28. GravatarBy Toolie on Aug 8, 2008 | Reply

    Buddy will fail at Aurora!

  29. GravatarBy Owlz on Aug 8, 2008 | Reply

Buddy form is good at Aurora but its not known for its high scoring forwards, mainly high scoring mids and back however buddy does love playing brisi and with no real defender to stop him he might just have a field day out he will want to get to the 100 goals as quick as possible so they will kick it to him heaps !! Do i have the guts to pick him no he’s buddy but it may be the difference between wining that final or not !! No Guts no Glory !!
