I write this wiping away a tear from my eye as the AFL Dream Team season is over. Congratulations to Tackling Tit-ed in defeating destROY by 16 points in our thrilling league final. It basically came down to Bowden vs Deledio (pictured right with coach Tit-ed) in the last quarter… and that goal that Lids kicked at the end kicked Tit-ed to his first ever DT Grand Final win.
So, now it’s time for our last Round Review of the 2008 DT season… this is the place to let everyone know how you went this weekend and a place that you can celebrate or commiserate your own league Grand Final.

This is down to the wire! It is currently half time in the destROY vs Tackling Tit-ed Grand Final (well, half time in the Tigers vs Dees game). Currently Roy is up by 30 points… with Bowden ripping it up for him against Tit-ed’s Richo and Deledio. Deledio is doing the right thing, but Richo is stinking! This is an almighty battle!

I feel a little sad… the last two AFL roster matches means the last two times anyone from our teams can score DT points for us! Awwwww! Thanks boys for the ride this season… go out there today and just make me proud! Enjoy the last time you are suiting up for the Warne Dawgs in 2008! Who knows, you could be listed again next year (contract negotiations will commence in February).

With just a few players to go each. The epic battle of all battling battles draws to an end. Who will be crowned DT TALK’s Premiership coach? Destroy is a $3.50 outsider this morning as he is sitting just 16 points in front. They both share quiet a few of the ’same’ players to day… but Roy only has Joel Bowden left. Tit-ed the $1.10 favourite has Delideo and Richo to go! “I’m hoping for a late withdrawal today, fingers crossed” Roy said this morning. “If I could pick one player to help me - I’m picking Joel Bowden to score me 200 today.” Tit-ed could not be reached for comment as he spent a late night out on the town with Warnedawg last night.

SUNDAY TEAMS UPDATED!
Some great news for those with no trades and wanting cover on their benches in their forward line… Kurt Tippett, Jason Porplyzia, Adamm Maric and Shane Valenti are back (edit: Valenti - is an emergency). Albert Proud also comes in to fill a hole. However, Austin Wonaeamirri is out with a hamstring. Adam Goodes has a groin injury (ohh.. did the Warne Dawg pick that this week.. oh yes he did!!)… Ok ok… there are HEAPS of changes this week, not enough time to list them all - just click the “more” button and you will see all of the teams… (more…)

Well… if you were one of the smarties that were “saving trades for the grand final”, then this is the reason why! Once the most durable player in Dream Team, Matthew Pavlich is not going to pull on the boots in the big one this weekend! What a shame!
