The teams playing in the first week of this split round will love the next weekend off footy
- especially as there were a few ‘one week’ kind of injuries. The most severe (apart from our mate Graham Polak - best of luck buddy), is probably Dustin Fletcher who broke his hand… likely to be missing for a few weeks. Ryan Griffen and Scott Welsh both dislocated their fingers but should be right to play on after the break. Matthew Richardson will have scans to see the extent of his hamstring injury, the Tigers are hoping that it is only tightness which will mean he won’t miss a game. Daniel Kerr got barbed by a stingray on his foot but he is said to be right to train later in the week. Brock McLean and Joel McDonald both hurt their ankles, but it seems as though they’ll be right for their next games. Click here for the Real Footy injury report.

Ahhh Joel Macdonald hurt his ankle!? Explains another crap score, but I feel better haha.
hows judd doing
this report must be wrong because none of my backmen were named injured unlike the last 5 weeks.
roy - that’s the split round for you, lulling you into a false sense of security
dont jinx it roy, the last thing I need is Heater or Mattner to go down…
hopefully richo misses one game (my next opponent has him).
Fletcher. godamn it.
picked you up cheap, you scored well for me.
now your fucked.
your too old.
just retire
what about Robert Murphy? he left the field with a knee problem in Darwin, Im sweating on this because I only have 1 trade left. ps I’m on 1976 with Heater, Burton, Bartel and pendlebury to play. I love the split round, my players must have played harder because they have a week off.
symes and massie were named in the best of adelaide playersn in the SANFL this weekend so symes could b back (i hope not bcoz my opponent has him as emergency 4 chad cornes)
symes will play for sure with macca out! sure thing!
murphy is out for 4 weeks
Not related to this round but the afl website has an article which indicates The Chad and Purgoyne will be back for the next round :O)
“Jordan Lewis has done a quad and will miss 3-4 weeks”
Told ya it was a false report. Listen to TooSerious, boys. Haha.
where did it say murphy out for 4 weeks? he came back on the ground for a while and looked ok. been looking and cant find anything on him.
The Crows look likely to bring Jon Griffin back for McLeod so it will be a choice between Jericho/Massie/Symes for that last spot.
My guess is Massie as he matches up well with some of the Cats’ medium-small forwards.
Andy Oten is also a chance, he’s averaging 93.9 DT points in the SANFL including 143 in his last game.
*Otten
they have to bring symesy back… SURELY!!
channel 7 news said fletcher’s hand is not broken and he’ll be right to play next match
really marcus?
good news.
no trades needed then!
already have two rookies covering mcpharlin and mcleod.
hope that news on Cornes and Purgoyne is true as I’ve got both in the back line and missing them badly at the moment.
What happened with Johnstone? He was named in the team and then didn’t end up playing. Anyone know what happened? Now I’m down a centre with Judd being out as well.
